when i search that thread i can't find it any where

anyway here the story about MSV

it's seems that the msv is a promo released in 2004

in OVA format

the squal of the MSV is Gundam SEED destiny astray

In the first short, Lowe Gear and the Junk Guild make a stop at an mobile suit parts auction on Earth where Lowe purchases a head taken from a modified BuCUE suit which, when attached to the arm of his Red Frame Astray, acts as a dual beam saber. Lowe tries to decrypt some combat data contained in the head, but is shortly engaged by, and goes into combat with, several ZAFT suits including a CGUE DEEP Arms. In the second short, Blue Frame pilot Gai Murakamo engages and, with the help of his fellow Serpent Tail mercenaries, traps a GINN High Mobility Type. He then faces off with the legendary Edward Harrelson, who pilots a Sword Calamity Gundam and has just finished destroying a fleet of ZAFT ships.

err Gundam MSV is aint a manga or anime at all.

The story you are mentioning is Gundam Seed Astray.

MSV is called Mobile Suit Variation. All the prototypes MS during the series is display there.

There MSV for UC and CE era. Not sure for wing tho..



Gundam W has always been target for conflict until CE arrives. Thats why in the past, fans are divided by faction hence the UCer and Wingers.

cool, found something about Gundam Unicorn in July's Hobby japan magazine



somehow, the green mobile suit, the Kshatria, looks like a Hamma hamma + Quin mantha. RGZ-95 looks like a Methuss + Zeta and lastly the D.50 C looks like a basic AC model all rojak

UC MS have some really unique naming conventions. much better than the unimaginative and pretentious *ehekehek* Justice or Freedom....
When I saw the name kshatria, I instantly got reminded of Kesatria Baja Hitam....
I wonder if it's sanskrit

Sources from other forums did mention that it was from Sanskrit and it related to the source word of "satria"... probably carries the meaning of warrior or pahlawan

Then again, it's unbelievable to find a girl interested in the boy's world of Gundam, especially UC.

Anyway, Kshatriya's armaments include funnels (24 of them... crazy !!) and mega particle cannons all over the torso and shields. Zeon's spamming machine I reckon. Note that there's only one unit of Kshatriya and no spare parts are available according to the description in the pics. It won't be a cannon fodder, synopsis of the latest chapter said that Unicorn had to activate NT mode to chase Kshatriya away so it won't be a pushover.

It's ZZ's Nahal Argama not the Zeta Argama, I wonder why they didn't use Ra Cailum class battleships instead.

i'm a UC fan , CE not really , but not realli into Char Aznable, i prefer Anavel Gato lawl
i got influenced by my big bro though, he's the one who showed me the intro, series & stuffs when i was small. i started watching 0083 Stardust memories & it was like so cool & all, dendrobium vs neue ziel , then i began working on the models as well

well, somehow, hero gundams looks moar & moar unique, perhaps it's caused by modern techies. maybe when 00 starts, they had their own original mobile suits, just like seed series. then later on, they started on copying mobile suits like zakus & doms & goufs into the series, just like gsd its a lil weird, doncha think?

but then again, my heart lies in the UC series, the original of-what-ppl say "old box gundam" lol, like rx-78 & other ms related to it

btw i m juz wondering is ths a new gundam anime ?? wat is the title ??

Most likely not since 00 is supposed to be a "brand new" series while CE is well known as a tribute to the old UC. I'd say a failed parody more than a tribute... GSD totally ruined the name of Zeta.

About the HCM Pro Excia... YUCKS... anorexia... And what's the purpose of having beam daggers? Might as well give them beam swords. Speaking of which, the concept of 7 blades on the Excia is indeed a foolish one. It only has 2 hands hence it will only be able to wield 2 blades at once. Backup weapons? Might as well give the Excia a beam rifle instead. I have no confidence in pure melee units since they are a goofy concept which only makes sense in fictional anime. This is why Epyon looks good at first, but think about it the idea is daft... Lock and beam-spammu it and it will have no chance of retaliation. Unless it's in GW where the Epyon moves at c... Back to the weapons. Shield-sword concept looks cool, but again it's not a practical design. Remember Trikeros? When you block, you can't shoot/attack/slash.

The only way to have a good melee design is Aegis' quad sabres, or to a lesser extent the IJ. With built-in blades in the feet and wrists, the palms are free to control other weapons. Even if it holds a shield for defence there's still 3 protruding beams. Bah... Aegis is the most underappreciated and underused MS in CE. And it's the most sophisticated and unique design.

Meh... I'll take the normal beam rifle + shield + sabres anytime. Unicorn showed that typical designs can look cool.And who can argue with MKII's simple and elegant design? Shell firing bazookas FTW too !!

Started as a Ucer and will stay there for a long while.

UC just manage to keep design rather down to earth and look cool at the same time.

The trouble of CE.. well to be precise Fukuda did mention a long while. CE is all about wtf pwnzord mecha more than actually look practical.

Design are repetitive to save animation cost.

Cmon look..

Ginn > Cgue > Guazi > Guazi R.

Strike > Impulse.( lets not forget that animation error where for 1 sec impulse become strike.)

Aegis > Saviour ( Dont they both look similiar)

Well the mecha design for 00 look diff.. well i will wait until the show comes out. But i truly WTFBBQPWN that they selling models long before the anime.
