Apply for Platinum will get approved quicker.... those "premier" cards take longer

Dear All,

Would like to ask, regarding the AMBANK CC RM650 rebate...

I did my transaction first transaction from 23/Sept exceeding RM1600 which is the requirement to get the rebate...

Today (6th/Oct), I received e-statement from email but there is no indication of any rebate... Is this normal?

How you guys check the rebate?
Can go Ambank online check if they will give rebate only on every 15th of the month?

It is normal la... According to TnC, it is 60 days after the transaction is made if I'm not mistaken.

today just swipe rm800. hope can get the rebate rm300

I believe you can, the quota is still there.
Their slow processing on applications helps though.

Which TnC? For this RM 688 supplementary? In the ad, it does list out the eligible cards.

I got different answers from different customer service officers.

Any one of you holding MBF card get this RM128 supplementary card promotion??

I want to apply supp cards for my kids, swipe RM688 to get RM128 cash rebate.

I called 3 Cs, 1 told me can, another 2 told me CANNOT, MBF card not entitle for this promo??
MBF card is Ambank card right?

Any idea? I emailed Ambank but as usual they reply with cut and paste of the T&C.

Read the T&C, it does not say MBF card can or cannot apply for this promo, sigh.....

Wait, all your kids are 18 years already? That's the minimum age for supplementary card holders...

Yeah, slow but once they call you for verification and ok, can receive the card within few days...

But i posting now just want to complain that, until right now my online access problem (error etc) still haven't fix after numerous call and counter explain, i mean months past. I gave up and just pay back any credit using cash deposit machine.

There are alot of promotion but the campaign mostly cheat people one.

For eg, the TRUE card promotion, said will give cash back RM300/650 when spend above RM800/1,600 within 2 months after application from Jun-Dec 2015 period

I spend over RM3,000 within 2 months and ask about the cash back, Ambank just said they dont know when it will pay (although some member here said immediately ?), probably end of the campaign period which is JAN 2016 !!

Well, most of us did get our RM 650 cash back on 15th Sept, I only spent all at around end of August.
I did get my Raya cash back of RM 150, others also got.

Now waiting for the last Raya cash back to be posted to our account. According to TnC is 6-8 weeks after the cycle. Fair enough.

For online account creation, I got mine with just phone calls.

Those cash back are not immediately for sure, who told you immediately? You may need to point out the post, I don't recall seeing such post. It's just that some spent faster and some spent slower but we all got it on 15th Sept.

not sure why AMBank reject my application where I am holding platinum of other banks.
well seem like I will miss the rebate.

Did I need to cal in c.service to ask card is entitle cash back?

Or the card auto entry?
I just submit my application form this afternoon.

I doubt they will tell you if the quota is there.

Wait till your card is here and just swipe it then pray hard.

Just ask one card agent here in Penang, he said currently the quota just hit 5k+, so I have just submitted an application for the card.
