I supposed you shall stop applying from any bank now.
Give a try again in 6 months time, else you will trigger all the banks for your rejection.

Yeah, looks OK. The dining+groceries will finish on 14.09, so if you haven't applied your card. Gotta be quick.

Checked via Phone banking. Card just approved today.
Hopefully can make it for 14.09.

No such law but banks will usually advise you to have 6 months cooling period.
He has been rejected by few banks at the same time.

Really no point keep applying and keep rejected by banks.

If you don't get it posted within 5 days, you may risk losing the "rebate".

QUOTE
All qualifying transactions must be posted to the Eligible Cardmember’s Card account to be
eligible for the Cash Back. The Bank will allow five (5) calendar days for the qualifying
transactions made to be posted into the Eligible Cardmember’s Card account. The Bank is not
responsible in any manner whatsoever for any late posting to Eligible Cardmember’s account
by merchants and/or third party.

I know but really nothing much I can do. doh.gif

Wait, so long posted within qualifying period then should be fine I guess. I believe more applicable to cases which are at the ending of qualifying period?

I online chatted with AmBank and asked why the posting date is so slow. Well, kinda expected they blamed it to the merchant.

Can someone verify if this is true? I used to believe it depends on merchants but few transactions experience with AmBank make me have a doubt already. Other banks seem to be quite fast.

Not merchant lah.... maybe the Ambank purposely "slower" to wait a few days in case there's a dispute smile.gif
Which Merchant is so slow ?

I tried Sam Groceria's and Tesco Extra Seremban, both also so slow. doh.gif
Previously, used other cards, very fast.

Maybe these won't be posted at all.... it's free transaction (i.e. 100% cash back)

Nope, previous experience tells me will be posted but take a bit of time. doh.gif

Later will swipe for my colleagues' TnG using AmBank card. Have to wait for the slowness again. Oh God.

Rechecked again. Sam Groceria's already posted but not Tesco Extra.

Add on: Just called CS, he said it is based on transaction date. I'm not sure how true is that. I read the TnC for him, he still insists it is based on transaction date. rclxub.gif

May I know if AmBank sends you SMS that you "won" the Raya cash back?
The CS said they will inform via SMS besides appearing on statement. Is this true? smile.gif

You participate for Month 1 [15 June to 14 July 2015] and receive the cashback on 30 Jul.
That's pretty fast smile.gif
Also the quota seem to be still available towards end of the campaign month. thumbup.gif sweat.gif
