toda flywheel? thats at 4.1kg if not mistaken... only 200gm diff than the exedy... oh well...fine for me since my car isnt daily driven and i plan to setup the car more towards track days.

got a friend with the toda flywheel though on his ori EG6 B16.. paired with the exey 4puck uses the car almost daily and hes happy with it... he recently changed the block to a B20 n hes still happy with it. dood made 211whp on the dynojet with b16b cams tuned with VAFC and everything else stock...bottom end stock...head stock... even the intake manifold is stock b16a

I am guessing he is running super high comp. with CF4 pistons. One of the older Kakis had  the same setup like above
220 hp with unichip. Car engine blew up during a hard  launch after 3 years. Now quit bawak BMW E92.
*
actually no hes not... stock 84mm P3F pistons.... all others stock too...

poji autoworks built it... i damn pelik see his result... and the dyno at GT Auto

sure magic or tipu specs lah,  p3f pistons stock  are. 8.8cr.  cf4 is 85mm 12 to 12+CR.
or 92/95mm stroker

cannot defeat the law of  engineering,  mechanics or thermodynamics.

220whp obtainable with 86mm pistons with stock stroker

also possibly uncorrected hp figures

kan kencing newbies la,  but i think u know better than to believe such setup can get 210whp, on engine that is roughly 235hp, and that is a low figure for transmission losses(include clutch gbox and tires) .  my old b16a has 27hp  loss from transmission,  my b20 is like  30+hp.  syok tengok flywheel hp,  when atw,  201.. lololol
*
actually... not the first time ive heard about a stock setup pushing alot of power...one of avantech's mechanics told me about a similar setup pushing 210whp. even he himself was amazed.

anyway.. the owner is kind of a noob when it comes to all these specifics. n he was on a tight budget for the build coz he had to repair his chassis as well at the same time. so yeah...i do believe its stock

he already showed me the figures on the dyno chart... just a zoom on the numbers... waiting for the full chart pic...

aiks? u know raja is it?

QUOTE(sadako-chan @ Nov 8 2012, 11:11 AM)
yep. looking at the  chart looks like can turn on the  high cam cam ealier, with b20b without oil squirters and stock oil pump, can turn on vtec at 4500rpm without problems  if you have full management. with oil squirter, a bit problematic if below 5k since those oil squirters reduce total oil pressure,. that high end  torque looks  good,, i can believe its stock type R cams.

i assume the madman chart is the same one for that car. not really peaky at all, actually quite same as mine that 2.5k mark peak on low cam means its stock cams i think probably not aftermarket, except maybe higher comp so gain higher hp output, but if standard b20b pistons? confirm tipu arr. the torque numbers so high it is impossible it is a 8.8 static CR

come to think of it, i woulld believe it is a b16a cam on this car. that rapid torque drop after  7.5k looks like my b20 when it was running b16a cams.with tyoe r cams torque also start dropping at 7.5 k, so i think either head restriction or exhaust, but exhaust akready 2.7. maybe i will port my spare b16a head one of these days and see if got changes.

btw, you sure this is atw? one 2.2l here has 22tq at 8k also about 215ish only atw.
*
yeah now im kinda doubting its stock bottom... possible its a PHK block n piston...but i still doubt it...

as for the torque drop, my B18C-R cams are the same way before the high comp... common trait for stock honda cams according to thomas

best part is... when my bottom end was stock, the torque line was very similar to his...including the slow decline the higher the rpm went before the rapid drop....once i went high comp n got it tuned, it was linear n minimal drop before VTEC.

Added on November 8, 2012, 8:53 pm

Like madman said, im kind of noob bout all these things..
The result was much better than what i had in mind..  Kinda surprise at first.. But it make me happy though.. Compare to my last b16a, the different in term of perfomance is too big..

Ps: thanx for the wire tuck compliment.. Looks nice right?? Hehehehe
*
aiks?? laugh.gif

how much was the wire tuck job?

can a D15B gearbox manual fit into a B16A? What is the most important part that i need to have before conversion? Auto tranny b16a sucks badly
*
not without an expensive B2D transmission adaptor kit (which u have to order from US)....but then again...i havent been able to find a B2D..... D2B (d series engine with B series gearbox) got la....

easiest n cheapest way is to get a b series transmission....dont bother with other series

try contactting jebon71 on mudah and ask for conversion package including postage to u....hes in selangor...n he only deals with type r parts

What is wrong with your Banshee actually? I thought u were only replacing the clutch?
*
thought the clutch was kaputed....but it turned out to be ok...

clutch release bearing spoilt and gearbox centre shaft is gone...can shake the bugger (supposed to not be able to move at all)

n since the car is at jebon who only deals with type r parts, masuk S80 gearbox je la....

upgrade? to wat? made an appointment with F Tuned already for tomorrow morning.

The shaft is gone? How is that possible? S80? Wow kaya laa lu dude.. Btw any idea how to notify the type of gbox? I was told that mine is the LSD type but not with the specific code such S80.. If im not mistaken mine is "LSD Ori EG6"..  Any idea?
*
no idea how its possible... kaya apa kebendanya? hutang broooooooooooo hahahhahahahaha....itu pun nasib gearbox lama aku ada orang nak beli gak... kurang hutang...banyak kurang hehheh

bab LSD ko tu... cara paling senang jack kete, and spin tayar... kalau dua2 belah spin tu... then its most likely LSD. n look for the stamp on ur gearbox... sometimes its engraved, sometimes its just a chop. should be near ur engine number

Haha. Higher clamp load of course harder la. But if you are like me, after a while, cannot feel anything already. Because of that, when I drive my friend's K20A, the clutch feel like sponge lol. And finally since after changing the clutch pump, the clutch release finally feels normal, not more chattering at low speeds when releasing clutch

Harder shifter bushings not much difference? Perhaps depends on driving method. On mine, it certainly helped prevent my friend from one hand steering and one hand on gear while driving. Kebas tangan vibrate so much lol. Then again, I am already on hardened engine mounts.
*
yeah when i was driving my EF it was like that too... used to super stiff clutch....drive other peoples car like so lembik their clutch hahahaha

drove the car abit more today... slightly more vibration on the knob... n shifting is only slightly more "notchy"...dunno if its coz of the new gb or the bushings....but then again... ive always driven with both hands on the steering except when shifting biggrin.gif

Bro better state your budget, if 1K sans ECU, mamposlah mau cari, ECU alone also already $$$ plus.
Usually sold for 2.5K(or more) including original ecu.

Actually I'm debating whether to sell mine or not and go for AEM. But even if I sell for 2.5K, I need to triple that amount for AEM v2 for its COP option and staged injection.  doh.gif
*
actually if ur on OBD1 already, the S300 costs 2.5k brand new including install and tuning these days....so ur gonna have to sell urs for significantly less than 2.5k...last i heard got people even selling at 1k for used S300

QUOTE(siauann @ Nov 14 2012, 09:54 AM)
WTF! side mirror also want take meh  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

same like my friend.. his fake spoon mirrors (EG6) got stolen...and only 1 side doh.gif

QUOTE(ferio94eg9 @ Nov 14 2012, 10:01 AM)
Budget around 2.5K-3.5K all in. (installation, tuning n dyno)..... u'r planning to get AEM v2 for your Turbo Killer?
*
as above...if already on OBD1, 2.5k can get brand new including install and tune... check with din (the guy with the dyno at autobaze USJ1) or even GT Auto Sunway or Fast Autoworks Sri Muda or alot of other workshops. I'd recommend Din though....said to be real good with VTECs but i heard his first tuning hes quite brutal on the engine so that he can see all parameters.

u didnt ask Poji?
