~ GUOCOLAND (residential and commercial in the future somewhere 0.5km behind caltex) is developing about 800 acres of land about 1km away, at least another 400-500 acres undeveloped yet?
*soon* ~ BANDARAYA DEVELOPMENT BERHAD (residential and commercial) will soon develop their 265 acres of land, shall be about 0.5km away from Jusco along Jalan Batu Arang, all the way nearer to the Rawang toll. For such a premium developer to come in, I am betting they are waiting for the completion or near completion of the road before they come in to ensure their property is commanding a premium price:

My favorite part in this article is that they are using a refined formula from their Sierramas to develop this massive gated and guarded development:

~ Glomac through its Saujana Rawang (Residential) is completing developing its 345 acres of land, about 2.5km from Jusco.
~ Puteri heights about 2.5km away from Jusco, UNKNOWN acres of land, there are also new boutique developments coming up recently, namely the 3 storey Semi Ds by Lowyat group, Saffron are also fully sold few months back, at that time about 900k, heard their next boutique development launch will be at least 1.2m/1.3m
~ AP Land/ Lowyat group about 3.5km away from Jusco - Bandar Tasik Puteri 2670 acres of land.
*soon* ~ Sunway/Sunrise, saw it in this thread by brother Chris Chew that the JV will develop 100units of high end bungalow 3.5-4.0mil.
This alone (more to come I believe as there are still lands undevelop in this area) make up a COMBINED OF 5500 acres of land started from the last 5 years and will be completing in the next 10 years or so, develop by tons of reputable developers AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME, imagine each has their own strength, creativity, experience, and loyal customer bases, this area will soon be changed and developed with good infrastructure, more and more upscale residence, lots of commercials etc, this is what I believe is changing and will continue to change Rawang for the next 10 years to come.
