More to do with excessive protein, or lack of water, or lack of vegetables, or sensitivity to an ingredient in the product. Not likely to do with some mystical 'heatiness' from animal products.
Some points to note:
1. Which product did he consume? Is it pure whey or mixed with other supplement ingredients?
2. Did he consume 2.5 litres of water spread out throughout a 12 hr period?
3. Is he eating more mixed vegetables and fruits in a day compared to other food sources? Maybe lots of soda and sugary drinks?
Nutrilite All plant. With Salmon Omega, Glucosamine supplements. He cannot tolerate animal-based proteins as it makes him feel very heaty.
1. Yes to water everyday, all day long. I have to nag about water bottles all over the place.
2.Yes and yes. Complains if there are no vegetables during a meal. Must have at least 2 types per meal. Stir fried with garlic, onion and olive oil.
3.Does not drink carbonated beverages or sugary stuff, has completely stopped all that for the last 3 years or so. Mostly likes to eat bananas, papayas and other types of fruit.
Things to note though- he has an intesnse, short workout plan, 20 minutes 3 times a week AND plays badminton, basketball and futsal everyday.
Probably something in the animal products that doesn't agree with him.
