Never heard of it. Personally, I agree with your father; You might invest in better/reputable rubbers.
If you want cheap tyres you might consider Silverstone.

Hey guys,

just need some comment from you guys,

Comparing with the tire size 185/60/R14

Continental CC5 - RM 190
Michelin XM2 - RM 190
GoodYear - no idea how much it cost
Bridgestone - no idea how much it cost

Which one is better performance?I always travel to north side.
I heard that Continental tires are not good cause same manufacturer with Sime Darby, and Im currently using Silverstone ( Same company with Sime Darby),which Im not happy with the tires, the flower easily went off after i travel like around 10k KM.

But the owner said, Continental tires are better than Michelin?
What about you guys?
My budget for tires till RM 200/tires
and Im willing to travel to Shah Alam if the price is cheaper.

Can you guys give some comments?
Thanks ya=)

really need some advice here for Re002. As i am a big fan of 001, it just gives me what i want and need. What about 002? Botak damn fast?

u need to see the treadwear when buying a tyre....the higher the number, the fast it will botak....

for PS3 the treadwear is 320 so if u r a frequent traveller confirm cepat botak.

BTW just changed to Michelin PS3 at Rawang (shop with Hankook signboard) size 215/50/17 RM580

Bro, not entirely true also... Because the treadwear rating from 1 company to another is not the same... take for example Re001 treadwear is 240, Ps3 is 320, this is ultra high performance tires, but id notice, even my dad's falken (the ordinary one, cheap cheap one, not even 912... Sorry, cant recall which model.. But normal size 175/65/14 oem rims) have a treadwear of 280.... If u says the tyre wear is only measured form threadwear marking, surely peeps will choose PS3 instead of cheap2 falken (like my dad's) for durability... But, that will never be the case for the tire's endurance... That's y i mentioned here, treadwear form 1 manufacturer to another is not the same, but if u compare within the same manufacturer form model to model, then maybe it will be correct... Still need to consider the tire's traction also... Have AA, A, etc etc... That also will affect...

my opinion is nexen not as good as the review, many people said it is good and cheap but it is not.sorry if i offend anyone.if choose between this 3,toko db or ps3 would be better.yoko db is quiet type tyre and comfort, the thread pattern is not rough.ps3 is more to performance.price wise is expensive lor.around rm580-590 if not mistaken.correct me if a am wrong ya wink.gif

Brother..Don't give false information to other worr..
Do some research before advising to others.. sweat.gif
Lower treadware rating more faster your tyre "botak"..
Higher treadware rating more slowly your tyre "botak"..
