QUOTE(Fatz_Cat @ Dec 3 2011, 07:52 PM) i change to new rims and tyres (package) from stock due to kemek at 50k km. now already 120k km. so use westlake for 70k+ km. front tyres botak evenly and need change. the back tyres still about 50%-60% left. i drive 90% plus highway (kl-seremban). so far, better than stock tyres 195/55/15 but due to 45 series, u can feel the road. cornering much better but maybe due to wider tyre (205 vs 195). now changed to neuton nt5000 205/45/16 + nitrogen, much quieter compared to westlake and less feeling of the road. i'm using Gen2 CPS (stock spring/abs) |

Just for your info, don't go to CKL, Lim Tayar at Ampang (opposite ulu klang) along the MRR2. I went there to change tyres...4 tyres price was ok but the supervisors and foreman just keeps asking me to change this and that eventhough the parts were still in good conditioning. They offered free balancing and alignment but I saw the staffs who were just pretending to do the alignment. Then after that they said that my absorber was gone. Ok change...then upon replacing the absorber, they said my bush and absorber mounting was jam and needs replacement. I began to feel suspicious as they (the workers) were like making eye signals..and poofs! their supervisor appeared and said it was jam. So, I believed him and change it. Later I took back the old parts and showed them to another mechanic and it said that it was in working order! So, just a warning to you guys and gals out there to be weary of these cons and cheats. I will be writing to CKL LIm Tayar for an explanation.

I dunno about that.. But bear in mind, different sizes of tires results in diff performance even though its d same make n model... Maybe it doesnt work with u, but for my car's configuration, the re002 works like a charm... |
