hmm.gif Should be petrol overflow. Heard about this before regarding that when start cranking that time, don't let go the position of the key until the engine started.

Finally took the plunge got the SE last week. And must say its a good choice. Feels pretty tout and comfortable enough for a car < 60 k.

Fueling so far, 10 - 11 litre for 100 km ... expected as the engine is tight. Hopefully the number will go down < 10 ...

Handling = Good .... smile.gif

If I heard correctly should be engine oil. He remove the air filter when cranking. According to him, seems not enough air flow to the engine cause it to not able to start properly.

Hehe RM260 per donut. So total RM1040 for 195/60/R15.
I think its worth it since it's quiet tire even at 120km/h.
First time I hear persona's engine sound rev below 2k rpm tongue.gif blush.gif

Tested during heavy downpour last weekend. Very grippy tire.
I did tried going over deep water puddle on purpose at 90km/h
No hydroplanning at all biggrin.gif

No trade-in value. I used my previous Conti Contact 1 till my front worn out becoming semi-slick tire while my rear tire becoming near F1 tire. No patterns at all lol tongue.gif The CC1 tires lasted me only 30,000km sad.gif Hope Michelin XM2 last me at least 40,000km

I changed in Melaka smile.gif

Petronas lube is better than Shell Helix for PE, IMHO. At least it's not as noisy as the Shell at 3-4k KMs..

I know a few Perodua SCs that offers shell & Castrol as alternative to their Perodua-branded engine oil.. But not with proton..
*
Agreed on this. I change from Castrol Edge to Petronas Syntium 5000 0w-40. Engine feels feather light even reaching near 10,000km interval. Quieter too smile.gif Avoid Shell if possible. After 4000km, you'll feel that the engine become sluggish.

Maybe my driving habit. Too much FnF around corners without braking, letting the tires screaming sad.gif Need to change this habit sad.gif

BTW xan, u did service your car at trendpoint right? Do they allow own lube?
*
Original R8 with 4 extra cylinders lah..sweat.gif

No, trend point does not allow own lube.

QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Oct 10 2011, 11:10 AM)
yup, if battery is ok, fuel ok, engine light not on the next thing is suspect the immobilizer kacau aldy, by pressing the reset button just try to reset the alarm lah, but this is what i think only but yet to prove, if anay one having this problem pls try ... smile.gif
*
If immobiliser kacau, the engine won't crank at all. Similar to trying to start a car with a completely flat/dead battery.
