yesterday I went to refill petrol at one of the shell station ..
I accidently pump V-power, I didn't notice it was V-power  .. 
The car suddenly become very responsive, so powerful and better pick up,
Then I can feel the different of petrol 97 and v-power (for me 95 kinda underpower )
when I check again  the receipt only then I reliaze it was V-power that I've refilled. 

Actually if your balancing is off, the higher speed you runs, the worst it gets. At slower speed, out balance might sometime gives only some hints of vibration.

Actually if ur car isnt tuned to run on high octane, there's not much point in pumping higher ron. How should I put it.. KKW's experience is not from the ron, but actually the additives.. U can't benefit much from the octane itself..

Campro engines dun have manufacturer recommended petrol & engine oil, rite?

For Porsches, recommended engine oil for the Cayman is Xw-40 from Mobil. There's a need to top up 1L of engine oil for every 1500kms travelled, so the other day I bought a small bottle of Shell Helix 5w-40(all Mobil I went were out of stock for the 5w-40 small bottle), and topped it up (5w-40 Mobil 1 in engine). The Helix gave a slight weight to the throttle, although not very noticeable as it is only 1L out of 7.5 L full engine oil capacity. But it definitely feels heavier. And when I compared Mobil 97 to VPower 97 & Caltex 97, it seems that Mobil gives way better power & acceleration & engine smoothness compared to the other two.

My point is, Proton should know what's best for the cars they made, rite? Then why are they still using Shell Helix for Campro engine services? we all tested it and it's proven Shell Helix isn't exactly the best the PE can get (noisy, heavy & turns black quickly). As opposed to their advertisement during the Shell Helix campaign they had that shows the engine oil still golden after xxxx KMs, compared to other engine oil..

I agree with the care about profit part, but there must be a reason behind why they use Petronas Synthium at CoSE but recommends Shell at authorised centres, rite? Are there any SCs that u've been that offers anything other than these 2? I haven't seen one myself

TrendPoint tun razak used to offer both petronas & shell, but now they're down to shell only. Sin Siang Hin also offers shell only. World Car Care? Shell as well?

Petronas lube is better than Shell Helix for PE, IMHO. At least it's not as noisy as the Shell at 3-4k KMs..

I know a few Perodua SCs that offers shell & Castrol as alternative to their Perodua-branded engine oil.. But not with proton..
