Just changed my 4 donuts to Michelin XM2. Good rubber for dry and wet grip. Not too far out from Michelin PS3 though

QUOTE(KKW @ Oct 10 2011, 12:06 PM) Hehe RM260 per donut. So total RM1040 for 195/60/R15.I think its worth it since it's quiet tire even at 120km/h. First time I hear persona's engine sound rev below 2k rpm Tested during heavy downpour last weekend. Very grippy tire. I did tried going over deep water puddle on purpose at 90km/h No hydroplanning at all |

QUOTE(KKW @ Oct 10 2011, 12:21 PM) So cheap? No trade-in value. I used my previous Conti Contact 1 till my front worn out becoming semi-slick tire while my rear tire becoming near F1 tire. No patterns at all lol Where you change..? at Seri Kembangan and Puchong quote me RM 305/pcs btw, how much you trade in your old tyre? I changed in Melaka This post has been edited by shakku: Oct 10 2011, 12:26 PM |

QUOTE(xandras @ Oct 10 2011, 12:41 AM) Petronas lube is better than Shell Helix for PE, IMHO. At least it's not as noisy as the Shell at 3-4k KMs.. Agreed on this. I change from Castrol Edge to Petronas Syntium 5000 0w-40. Engine feels feather light even reaching near 10,000km interval. Quieter too I know a few Perodua SCs that offers shell & Castrol as alternative to their Perodua-branded engine oil.. But not with proton.. Added on October 10, 2011, 12:42 pm QUOTE(muslayer @ Oct 10 2011, 12:38 PM) Maybe my driving habit. Too much FnF around corners without braking, letting the tires screaming This post has been edited by shakku: Oct 10 2011, 12:42 PM |

QUOTE(KKW @ Oct 10 2011, 05:58 PM) Wiper aaa..... I changed mine to DuraEdge. Silicon based wipers.Expensive but damn worth it. Been using two years and never change once. It wipes water dry, no smudges on the windscreen, even during heavy downpour. No screeching noises on windscreen btw. |

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Oct 11 2011, 04:24 AM) My middle thread still got quite some grooves to go.. Nowadays never take corner fast fast ady.. Last time all i take corners g-force sure above 1.0g one.. haha.. The most exciting part of driving a car is not driving fast in a straight line, its taking a corner at the fastest speed technically possible.. This I agree! |

Want to know your car's handling limit? Very easy. Find a HUGE roundabout. Preferable with less traffic. Go around it and increase the speed gradually. You'll know the limit soon enough. It's safe too btw. Back off throttle if it's screeching too much

Well, if she's willing to pay you for original bumper/parts at Proton's Service Center, go ahead.
If she's not willing, aiming for 3rd party parts aka cheaper cost, insurance claim go go! |

So... according to your friend's logic, if my car next service interval is 5000km, and my odo meter shows 50,000km... am I screwed up?
You need to add up your service interval to the exisiting odometer. For example, if 5000km next service, your current meter already 50,000km ---> next service is 55,000km! This post has been edited by shakku: Oct 18 2011, 12:45 PM |
