Hi, just got mine last two days. Battery power is good as 3 months back I m using HTC sensation,that is even worst. No regret,my sis got the 10.1 and I got the 7plus. I want portability,battery power. Very fun n I also got the anymode case protector.

i guess my set is having battery problem..
i having 80% battery and leave it for 7 hour and battery become 8% without using it =.=
have to send for servicing i guess

do checkup my official thread sgs Ii page 1 FAQ section q16-16d to understand better battery issues. dont think is battery problem. it is more how you manage your battery

the strange things is my tab10.1 can last me 2 week with internet thetering on non stop...
but my tab 7+

i use the tab as my hp for my company line now. no battery issue for my case. for these 3 weeks using it can last for around 24 ++. specially on weekend. but on weekday i will just gv the device a full charge on midnight although it still left around 20- 30% as i need to make sure the unit is 100% ready b4 i goto work.

just for comparison. my homescreen got friendcaster, facebook, 3 push email account , 2 browser, whatsapp, line, accuwheater,viber, skype, bluetooth on day time as i will it pick up call. wifi on 24 hours so when at office it will auto link to office network.brightness i set to mid level and off the auto function.off gps.

i read the FAQ, seem that it write use mobile data sucking more power.
but when i open my 7+, there is 3 option, the third option never turn off power on wifi is suck more power than mobile data.
do i miss anything?

Generally internet on 3G uses more power than wifi. It is very obvious when you are browsing - the battery consumption will even be worse at areas of lower coverage

My setting is normally like urs
Just now full charge at 11 now left 89% with just light browsing and 3 call
Could it be that fast

Steven, I have similar experience as your with regards to the battery life. I am amazed that everyone is getting good results. For example last night I started at 99%. Within 30 minutes tinkering around the tablet, I'm down to 89%. Seems pretty quick.

At first I suspected maybe mine didn't have the 3G SIM in it and I had the GSM radio on causing it to drain as it tries to detect the SIM. So turned it off, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

dun look at the droping of 10 percent.... try to monitor from 100% - 0%, how much u can get the juice out of it. i have my set to , no force feedback, no sound while typing exept using the dial pad. GSM whole day except i m out and no wifi available then i switch to 3G. screen brighness i set to auto. push mail on exchange, facebook update. try and see to monitor from 100% - 0%. use as per normal to ur usage then u will know ur usage will last how long. then only u know ur tab can last you how many hours base on ur usage.

also remember to use task manager to close unactive application. if u open too many application, u will drain lot of battery. expecially free apps....u will have it connected to the net to pull the ad if u allowed them to hav ur syn active all the time instead of manual. i only active push mail immediately for exchange, the rest i set to manual.

anyone know where can find the readers hub and media hub?

just now i call back the shop i asking for replacement.
they say no stock wait this Friday and see got stock they will replace for me.
i not sure is it my set problem or apps i install.
but yesterday night, i kill all my apps and put it to sleep but still drain very fast.
now i uninstall droid notify and see the result.
if still same i guess is the set problem.

if i put my set on idling from nite, lets say full charge 100% at midnite 12.30am, then i sleep, wake up go office around 8.30, i will have like 97% to 95%...

lol i dun think i can..

i remove "droid notify" to see if this apps affect my battery life.

under setting>sound>uncheck haptic feedback
also uncheck screen lock sounds and uncheck audible selection
GSM whole day means i will set my phone to only on GSM mode if i dun need to use the tab to surf net. office i no need to use the tab, i can use my notebook to go to the net and also i try to connect to wifi available at cafe or restaurant..if not available then only i will set to 3G mode. i only push email from exchange and gmail. i did not add hotmail and yahoo inside. yes, i use facebook for social hub. and i did download facebook for andriod...but i did not syn that one..whenener i wan to see some update from facebook i will use the build in social hub widget to manualy sync it. and i syn with GSM ( edge).

as for myself, i will on my 3g 24 hour as my maxis is unlimited or else why i pass rm99 for that.
as my previous phone i also on 24hour 3g
as for now, i see the different between use is 3g connection.
i will try check the battery when i leave it overnight and see the result.

my digi is unlimited internet also..i m using digi business plan. but i wan more battery power..... so, u got to choose.

at home screen did u set picture frame widget where u the picture will auto play at home screen?
i did set this.. how about email widget? is this will reduce the battery life as well?
