physical has better profit? hmmm i plan start small. since i am still new. maybe rm10k to 15k. thats for now... might increase if i think its good investment, else i just store up for land.

if you believe silver is becoming rare and collapse of USD and back to gold standard is inevitable, then physical is a better choice (i don't recommend, i just say better)

If you plan to buy 10k-15k silver, then better buy from apmex or gainesvile, then you can save 20-25% or get 20-25% more silver than buying from local resellers.

Land or precious metal , you make your own decision.

you will be taxed if you buy coins. but the local reseller also sell you at his cost (cost of coin + shipping + tax) + 20-25% profit

then you decide yourself to buy at cost of coins + shipping + tax or pay local reseller, cost of coin + shipping + tax + 20-25% reseller profit.

What's the shipping rate if i order arnd 10 to 20 pcs of 1oz coins? Gainesville looks cheaper than APMEX, but I'm not aware of their shipping rates...tried Gainesville, but I'm stucked at the Billing and Shipping page. It always says that the information does not match

Well, browsing back previous thread, someone stated it's arnd USD100. So assuming shipping 20pcs of Panda costs USD100, current price is < USD 39.50.

Not too sure bout the calculation, correct me if i'm wrong.

(39.50 * 20pcs) + 100 = USD890

If including tax, I assume only the 15% tax doesn't include the shipping fee, it will be USD118.50

Current exchange rate is 3.21, so:

890 + 118.50
= 1008.50 * 3.21
= RM3237.29

Each coin would be RM161.86?

Not sure if there are any resellers selling 20pcs of 2011 Panda @ RM161.86/pcs

exchange rate should be spot rate 3.21 + +/-0.05 = CIMB bank TT rate.
anyone know which bank has the lowest rates?

so each coin would be around RM164.
if sell at RM190, that would be around 16% markup.

I think the current price of bar is RM 130 - 140, depending on which one. So many in the market, and within a few more days time, the market will be flushed with supplies as most dealer will have already received their shipment from overseas.

Care to share the other sites via PM blush.gif My main concern is it will just go "poof" in a matter of hours like what happen to the lunar dragon from perth mint.

Any info if this is going to be a limited mintage?
