I do have problem if using the restoration method(manually download the .ipsw file pressing the shift button and select restore in the iTunes), when selecting the update method in iTunes it download and update successfully without any problem at all. There's a forumer who have problem with both method as well but after deleting a row of IP address in the "hosts" file, he managed to update his iPad to 5.0.1 and these IP address was edited for Jailbreaking process purpose. IMHO, If you never edit your hosts file in your window system before, there should be no problem updating to iOS 5.0.1 at all, so don't worry whether it comes preinstall with an older FW.

Are you using 3G connection to install the games from AppStore? Apps over 20mb require either wifi or iTunes to download and install.



How much space left on your iPad? Have you try rebooting? iPad 1 or iPad 2?

Downloading from the web? Don't you realise that movies and songs are actually copyrighted stuff?

Try downloading your files using wifi connection and see whether it works then.
Mine is having minor light bleeding and I don't care much coz I won't be turning the brightness to the maximum at all, sending back for warranty will have to wait and no promises whether it's a perfect set without light bleeding again. Unless yours are very serious light bleeding then you should send it for a warranty.

Since its visible even you set it to half brightness, you should send your iPad for warranty. As for repairing, I don't think so coz they might replace you a refurbish or maybe new unit which have lesser bleed or no bleeding at all.

Never try it before but IMHO there's a reset option in the Settings where you can clean wipe the entire contents in your iPad and reboot with default Apps without restoring from the itunes.

Correct me if I am wrong, I don't think iPad have that option. Anyway, you can download "Battery Doctor" from Appstore to manage the battery usage.

When you launch the Contact App it will display as a book form, on the bottom left page will have a "+" sign for adding contact while the "edit" button suppose to appear on the bottom right page for any contact you selected on the left page.

This usually cause by the wrong permission coded to your AddressBook.app, try restoring the firmware again.

Based on Apple Product Cycle, iPad 3 may probably will launch around March. As usual to reach to our shore may be around May or June then running out of stock and so..on.... and..so...on....iPad 4.

Try reset your network settings in your iPad first and if you still can't connect to the wifi, check whether you have ip conflict from your wifi router.

Could be, you can check in your router and see which other wifi connection are connecting to your wifi.

Try press and hold the both Sleep/Off-On and Home Button for merely 10 seconds and let go once you see the Apple Logo.

Connect your ipad to the AC Adapter and wait for half and hour, see whether it start charging. Sometimes when the ipad is totally out of battery power, it may take some time to start charging even you have plug into the adapter.

Added on April 13, 2012, 9:56 pmTell your cousin to connect to the iTunes and performs the DFU mode, once the driver installed into the Window 7 it will able to detect by the Itunes. It's normal if the USB is nor charging the iPad since the ipad needs a higher power output to charge from the USB port, search and install a driver named "Asus AICharger" and the ipad will start charging by then.

1) Youtube loading will work fine preferable you have a fast internet connection.
2) SwitchEasy Canvas for the new iPad and it comes with a free glossy SP.

If you delete the the files from the original location in your computer, the files will delete from your idevices as well once you doing the sync process. Just add a subfolder into the sync location if you plan to add new pic every time.
Anyway I will normally convert all the photo into a PDF files in case I want to read it as a book form before transferring into my iPad.

Why don't you buy the iPad from any local Apple reseller since you're doubt about it? Any particular reason buying from Onking?

Sorry, my mistake , I just read that by turning Edge Off will apparently turning the 3G off as well.

Its a tweak features from Cydia not from AppStore, you have to jailbreak your device in order to do so.
