noise.. not sure bout latest vac, cos i bought electrolux ultra senyap many years ago, they need to put a lot of insulation to make it quiet, and after many years the insulation will disintegrate, and i need to open the shell n clean the motor outside etc.. n it will be noisy again.... smile.gif
*
Oh ya, that insulate.

I got 1 spray booth that like vacuum. 1 day suddenly blow out all the insulate. And getting noisy. The insulate will disintegrate after some time.

Have another sanyo dry/wet vacuum similar fate. Throw it away.

You purposely buy the tripod or comes as a bundle?
*
It is bundle.

Actually I just looking for the levelling only. But don't have.

That attachment is separated buy.

The tripod also not bad. Got liquid level too on it. And can use for my camera. biggrin.gif

Drilling a big hole can really put the powertools to the limit.

Try drill a 125mm hole. 1st using the Bosch GRE16RE 750W. It struggle to drill and getting very hot. Almost cannot touch the motor body. The hole cut deep getting no where. Afraid it get spoil, I stop using it.

Change it to Makita HR2470 780W. Drill like a charm. Less effort to push. And speed more constant even pushing hard.

Despite the watt almost same, (different by 30w) Rotary drill are much more powerfull than hammer drill. If doing some big job.

Yesterday was my lucky day ! Managed to grab another Bosch Gas 18v ( solo ) ( my third unit  sweat.gif  )+ 2 replacement filter for RM 172.80 from 11street  rclxm9.gif  ( RM120.80 for the vacuum + RM52 for 2 replacement filter )

and just to share, this is the comparison size between 18v and 10.8v vacuum...

What is the noise level for this vacuum ? How long the vacuuming can last per full charge ?

I strongly consider a handheld vacuum like this. When doing some DIY at night, I can't use my Hiatchi vacuum. The powerfull 2300w is very noisy even in low mode.

That restrict me from doing some drilling and dusty thing. Or quickly finish up before night. Sometime take few days to finish because of the time limit of not doing it continue till night.

Is there any place that I can try it out ? So I can hear it myself the noise level.

I want to consider the Makita vacuum. Cause the 12V battery is same with the current powertools I have. But it only can last for 12min percharge.

Hammer drill and rotary hammer works quite differently, price also double too.  cry.gif
*
Yup, the mechanical is different.

The bosch GRE16RE cost RM376. Makita cost around RM485. No big different.

I brought the bosch because of smaller size. Can drill on tighter space.

Lucky the Makita still can go in to the TV cabinet tighter space. Otherwise I will cry continue using the bosch to drill. cry.gif

Working till 9pm still consider ok kua. You working in closed area or open area?
Karcher has a vacuum that has rated noise of 60dba. I think is T15/1 HEPA... I think more than 1K.  bangwall.gif

Actually that vacuum my office cleaner use also very quiet, later I check the model.
*
9pm is quite late. If pass 7pm, I feel uncomfort to continue with loud noise. I don't like to cause any trouble to my neighbour.

Open and close. Sometime got to take out to car posh to do if big thing.

I consider handheld cause it more easy to vacuum, smaller size, doesn't need to drag with hose and more silent since it smaller size.

They rotate at different speed that hammer drill is less then half the speed of the impact drill
slower means = low gears = high torque
*
Both drill speed is controllable with the trigger you press.

Looking at GSB16RE picture in Lazada, it comes with so many accessories sure it will be more expensive.
I believe Makita comes with just the rotary hammer?
*
Makita come with the chisel, some concrete drill and jaw chuck. Lucky it have jaw chuck. Otherwise can't drill any common thing. The SDS chuck mainly for concrete use.

Bosch come with all the low quality tools.

i use the makita rotary on tiles, without the hammer funtion the tiles can be drilled but slow ... sometimes i get lazy and just turn on the hammer and hope my hand dont wobble too much else the hole become svery big or worst case tile chip ...

but rotary is good shit man
*
The bad of the SDS chuck is the accuracy. Even attach the jaw chuck on it, it still wobble abit.

That is also the reason I have to buy the bosch. Despite it power limitation.

I have tried to drill a 25mm hole using concrete bit with Makita. Still able to drill but a bit struggle.

I m thinking too much on the powertools and neglect the consumer side. bangwall.gif

Find out that Dyson V8 handheld vacuum is quite silent. Will go and try it out at some HN.

Sometimes the advantage is the ability to change battery without fuss.  I used to have a cordless Electrolux hand held vacuum. Worked well, but left in cold storage when the battery expired. So lazy to get the thing changed by authorised dealer.
*
Check at SenQ few model.

Attract to Dyson model. But price is expensive. Not the silent wan. Around 100db. But accessory is more complete.

The most silent is the LG handheld. Around 83db. But less suction power. Not so versatile using and lack of accessory. Not cheap also.

The rest like Electrolux, Panasonic etc, is very noisy.

All is built in battery with require to charge.

There is no use for me if it noisy. Even it can change battery or can fly. I still can't use it at night.

100db?  shocking.gif  Thats the sound level of my table saw already.

How you get info of the loudness? Is it printed on the product info?
*
Download the DB apps into your HP.

I feel like different frequency pitch given out different db even it not loud. I wonder frequency will cause db high/low.

I measure my Hitachi 2300w vacuum in low mode. Given out about 90+db.
