There's no rules about what lens to use though generally speaking, the closer you are to the subject... the more involved and intimate the photo will feel.

i tot the rules of lens for street photog is basically wide.
Common focal length used are 50mm & 35mm... wider also better |

Wo! Its been a long time since I dropped into this thread. Barely shot street anymore since work ate up my Saturdays now. Berkhidmat untuk negara 6 days a week, full.
Melaka 2011 Dec. ![]() At the ruin church in Melaka. Spotted this lil' cellphone strap soft toy. Dropped on the floor and shot while visitors around me were laughing. ![]() Framed within a frame. ![]() Uncle rocking it out on his acoustic. And singing in Portuguese. ![]() Gula-gula ketuk uncle. Added on February 28, 2012, 9:17 amSome KL shot. ![]() ![]() Literally shooting on the street while driving in an old Mini. More to come. This are all shot during my short holidays. Shooting beggers does not really says you belittle them or what. It depends on how you use the photo. If you capture the essence, its more of emotion and expression being conveyed.
