Wo! Its been a long time since I dropped into this thread. Barely shot street anymore since work ate up my Saturdays now. Berkhidmat untuk negara 6 days a week, full. Melaka 2011 Dec. At the ruin church in Melaka. Spotted this lil' cellphone strap soft toy. Dropped on the floor and shot while visitors around me were laughing. Framed within a frame. Uncle rocking it out on his acoustic. And singing in Portuguese. Gula-gula ketuk uncle. I shot him before few years back I think. Added on February 28, 2012, 9:17 amSome KL shot. Literally shooting on the street while driving in an old Mini. Kids, do not do this at home. More to come. This are all shot during my short holidays. Shooting beggers does not really says you belittle them or what. It depends on how you use the photo. If you capture the essence, its more of emotion and expression being conveyed.

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Feb 29 2012, 01:31 AM) This one cannot be achieved by just single snap lo.. I can't find the vid now but sometime ago I saw this vid on youtube about a female photographer who documents this homeless couple living underneath the sewers/subway lines. That was awesome. Quite true. I do shoot this people but like you said, unless the moment is right, which is rare.

QUOTE(Riggo @ Mar 5 2012, 04:17 PM) I believe many of them might be a little bit shy at first but they all wish to get photographed and thinking to become a star someday lol. Now, that, I shall. +1! Direcktor scouting for actresses, this Riggo. Added on March 5, 2012, 5:07 pmSharing some shots. Bangkok 2012 Started with shots of hawkers around my hotel since when I arrived, it was somewhere tea time for them. This post has been edited by satriakid: Mar 5 2012, 05:07 PM

QUOTE(keccik @ Apr 1 2012, 11:46 AM) i was watching erickim with his street photography documentary in youtube, well... sounds interesting. but what is you guys opinion by having bulky DSLR compared to Mirrorless in shooting streets? In general, most people will run at the sight of big camera/lens pointing at them. I'm one of them. I wish digital range finders are cheaper. Or those olden days of SLR which are smaller. Some photos from me. Funny how the boy wasn't looking at me, and I was only 3 feet away from them. Think many should know this uncle.
