Not Street
No Title
No Story
No Composition

I just want to say good bye to my Zeiss ZM C-Sonnar with this last shot from it. I will miss the 3D pop.  cry.gif

I really like this shot.... somehow I can never get a carousel shot to look right and yours did.
*
Thanks. I took 2 shots of it and this one succeeded. Made the shot with a short pan with speed matching the carousel.

Another small contribution.

Not really into fesbook tongue.gif
I tried to google for a pic but its so stealthy that even google dun have pic.

It's just taping the camera logos and what not with matt black tape (stealth tape) for reduce visibility especially when the shooter is also wearing ninja black.  flex.gif  flex.gif Can also serve as rudimentary protection against bumps and scratches lo.
*
my friend used to do that on his D700. laugh.gif

kinda worry about the safety of malaysia this days shakehead.gif

It doesn't guarantee that your camera will not be stolen, especially DSLR.
Thieves now are aiming at big and bulky DSLR as they know it is worth money with demand in the market.

what's the reaction u get generally? are people comfortable with u taking their photo?
*
Some just looked at me and smiled after i took their photos.
Some just acted like nothing, and continued doing what they did.
Some gave me WTF expression, but nothing happened after i smiled at them.
Some didn't even know that i took their photos even though i was right in front of them.
Some chased me and I ran laugh.gif laugh.gif

But shooting strangers memang pun is a mental game.
*
No one has ever chased me before, the last one was a joke lolz.
but it would be fun to get chased i guess.

I usually dress in casual and use my crappy film camera to shoot street all the time, so people probably think that i'm just nobody or a tourist.

Come share your ah pek story laugh.gif

i tot the rules of lens for street photog is basically wide.

Common focal length used are 50mm & 35mm...
wider also better
*
Common FL is 21, 24, 25, 28 and 35. 50 is a bit tight tho.

hahaha...those scams are really bad, keep convincing those kind hearted aunties to donate money to them.

Only few shots were captured with flash cuz i didnt realize that kevin brought his flash till near the end of shooting...

I used 1/30, f4.5, iso 400.

It depends on situation, for correct exposure, better test it with dslr.

I have a "Crown" brand old flash which my dad used last time with his Fm. Its like Nikon SB400, and i've tried used them with my X100, it looks cool, and fun to shoot. Only tried it at home tho.

Maybe i should hit the street with flash attached

Added on July 10, 2012, 7:10 pmoh ya, have to manual flash, full power. Same with the way u use the canon right?
*
yea manual mode flash cuz different ttl system, forgot to say i used only 1/16 power of flash on that night
