My due date is 28, can i pay on 28?
will the interest be imposed?
*
Why not ?
If you are using M2U to pay on 28th, it will be creditted the SAME day.

So let say if i use the cc today for rm50 then i can pay today rm50 and cotinue like dat without have to wait until end of month?

I always tot need wait compile the statement for the month only pay.

*
You should pay AFTER the Statement has been generated BEFORE the DUE DATE....
Call the bank to ask for your Statement Date.
Then Due Date is 20 days after Statement Date.
ALWAYS PAY BEFORE DUE DATE

Tomorrow (31/12/11) would the last weekend of the month and 1/1/12 will be on the first weekend of Jan, wonder how the 5% cash rebate for MBB2Amex will be credited in,  Dec or Jan?
*
If your transaction is NOT POSTED by 31-Dec-2011, then the rebate will count into Jan-2012's rebate pool and given on 31-Jan-2012.

People like me don't care rolleyes.gif whistling.gif as I've used up my RM50.00 Weekend Cash Back for Dec 2011

As far as I know the RM50 monthly rebate is following calendar month instead of statement billing month, but is there anyone here has experienced wrong calculation e.g. rebate is calculated from 1 Nov to Dec 1 instead of 1 Nov to 30 Nov ?
*
please read the 1st page on how Maybank calculate the Weekend Cash Rebate... MBB don't calculate wrong, it's usually newbies that don't know how to calculate

QUOTE(afosz @ Jan 3 2012, 03:20 PM)
I need help ! This morning based on my receipt, 03/01/2012 at 09:05:25, I pumped my petrol at ESSO for RM 48.00. Just now, I just received an SMS from 66628 stating that at 09:05:27, I pumped RM 200.00 at the same petrol station. Previously, I have never received any SMS whenever I swiped my card. Any suggestion ?
*
RM200 is the normal pre-authorise charged amount to any credit card used at pump in Petrol stations.
No worries....

Oh really ? Meaning that each transaction will be like this ? RM 200 is like a deposit even though I only use RM 50, is that correct ?
*
Correct... because at the pump the CC doesn't know how much you would pump, right ?

Used my MBB 2 Amex card on 31st Dec 2011 for Getha. Surprisingly the transaction is still "floating" according to MBB customer service, pending from mechant's claim. Unfortunately also is that (according to MBB customer service), the rebate from that transaction will not be counted in Dec 2011 or Jan 2012 rebate limit since it is still "floating".

Is this true?
*
Merchants have about 7 days to post the transaction... you will get your weekend cash-back as part of the Jan 2012 rebate.

The customer service said (and also confirmed) that the cash-back is not counted in Jan 2012. I still need to wait for 4 more days to see whether the transaction went through, or whether it appeard in maybank2u.
*
Very sure the Customer Service is ill-informed... if not in Jan 2012, given in Feb 2012 ?
You can call again to enquire to see if the next CS says the same thing.

I had my first encounter with loss of Credit Card...NEARLY. I did a swipe at the toystore on Sat. Somehow with all the other loyalty cards used to collect points, my Maybankard 2 AMEX didn't follow me into my wallet.

After 15mins, I received a call from Maybankard Platinum services (Private Number) that asked me to check if I left my CC at the toystore. Opened my wallet and my Maybankard 2 AMEX is missing indeed.

Quickly ran back to the toystore to look for the manager and ....... Thank goodness I retrieve my 'precious' CC.

P.s. i believe the cashier 'forgot' to pull out the CC from the terminal, when giving me the receipts.

Consider yourself lucky. How come MBB CS managed to call you? Did the toy store inform them?
*
I would assume the toystore called Maybankard CS line behind the card...
subsequently, MBB called me... lucky still shopping around else need to find carpark again.

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jan 8 2012, 11:04 AM)
Luck you but make sure you check your spending from time to time.
I had my Amex front page 4 digit security code sealed with hard to remove adhesive tape and saved the code in the form of phone number in my phone contacts with a fake name.
If the adhesive tape is tampered with in the above incident, I would suspend the card and request a new one.
*
I had such adhesive on the most important digits... not tampered with.
Visa, Mastercard, AMEX should remove this no. from appearing on the card.

QUOTE(MGM @ Jan 8 2012, 09:48 AM)
Shouldn't you cancel your card. Your card details already compromise.
*
I trust the cashier (elderly lady)... very honest person.
