in actual fact, i never borrow any money since i have very, very healthy cash flow

my financial adviser (aka maybank manager ) advised me to build up good credit profile, so a credit card (with good repayment history) is a start

i've been using debit card for the past few yrs - maybank's own, and i thought that would count too... but it isn't

Advisable to go directly to the branch or via online?

Is it  because KL holiday today they no update the record ? last month I got my rebate on the 1st month of the day .... maybank 2 card

I am about to buy a laptop from my company as employee purchase... the sale person is from Penang and I in Selangor .. We are communicating via Email... He requests me the details as well as credit card (Amex)... Is this safe or standard procedure requesting my credit card details?

From my thinking, he can buy anything he wants with my card details if he wants ... Argh! ..

sorry for stupid question, i just noticed that my 2 cards had become something like ~ and ^ shape (probably due to method of keeping in wallet).

it shouldnt affect the usable of the card right?

Its a pure disappointment really with their CS. I requested for an increase to a temporary credit limit since I'll be on business trip 3 days back. The CS person told me that I'll know the result by Friday. I called up Friday evening, they said it hasnt been process yet and they told me they will look into it. At 11pm, I called again, and they said they cant process until Wed, due to weekend and public holidays. I told them my situation where I need to travel and I just asked for a temporary credit limit, to pay my hotel. The CS once again promised they will look into it and give me a call before 12pm on the status.

Until now, no call received. Well done Maybank CS! Now I am thinking of changing CC.
