Doesn't make sense to only hold 200 for 10 transactions when each transaction you could pump up to 200 or whatever the hold amount is. I've hit the hold amount before, after that amount the dispenser will not release any fuel anymore (ron97 on a really large SUV).

It's only for a while, and even on your high interest accounts the interest for those days isn't a huge deal. Tambah2 lagi why use 10x example, I think no private user pumps more than 2x in a given 3 day period.

Hi, i just got my pbb lifestyle debit card, can pin but cant paywave, chg the contactless daily limit, i can paywave at 711 (white terminal) but cant wave at McDonald's (black terminal) any reason why?
Called support said nothing wrong with card

First transaction after getting new Public Bank Debit card is always pin. Only second transaction onwards will be able to do paywave (Visa card). After reach some max amount limit(unknown limit), the card will need to do pin again to reset the wave/amount limit count.

Is the failed paywave a first transaction?

First transaction at Mcd , failed wave, so use pin.
Then i chg contactless limit at bank, then paywave at pharmacy cannot
Today try 711 can wave but Mcd still cant

I want to pay bills at 7-11 by waving my debit card but cashier said cannot use card....You are not paying bills?

You can't use Visa/MasterCard to pay bills, only for purchase of goods.
But you can use Visa/MC top up TNG wallet (the only EWallet) then pay bills at 7-11.

guys wanna ask...why cimb blocks the usage of debit card when shopping in amazon...i noticed that if the total of item goes beyond 100 dollar that is around 400 then cimb will not approve the transaction.....so shitty la cimb debit card

Noob question, brothers here. Please.

When I bought something at the mobile accessories shop, during I wanted to pay by Paywave, the cashier asked for my ATM debit card from my hand. Hong Leong. As the scanner is on his side / out of my reach.

He held it, typing something at the keyboard while looking at my debit card then his sales monitor (PC), where I believe he keyed in my debit card number / series.

Is that fine, or is that even legal? I was like... The f***, Paywave you need to key in my card number, I thought just scan it?

Question, they cant hack my card or something, right? Like buying online or whatever. Its a Hong Leong normal ATM debit card. Normal.
