i see many of you able to find them at Popular. at MPH MV i didn't seem to find it. i checked online they said currently unavailable. does anyone know anywhere else i can get this, or do i need to cross country to Ikano Popular this week? lol
^ That video I saw it last year. Damn funny. Good chemistry between them in front of camera. Great rivals on the track.
AFAIK, MPH kinda 'not' participating in distributing the magazines. Popular has more subtle promotion..
I want to wait till all parts received then only spend one whole day assembling it..
1) are you sure you can wait that long? 2) are you sure one whole day is enough
I expect it to take several days, maybe over a week to complete this model from scratch to finish. I'm trying to setup a workstation for this model before I start anything...dun wanna have missing screws or parts...
hahhaa...ya...u wont finish that in 1 day. it take several days to assemble. Imagine when you have over 70 packing on the floor, it will be a mess. Better start doing this, maybe 5 issue by 5 issue to assemble.
Picked up issue 5 in Kino KLCC this earlier this evening.
Also, for a cheap set of precision screwdrivers that are better than the cheap soft one supplied with the kit, Daiso sells a set with #00 Philips head for RM5.
Sigh, done already. 5 mins, now gotta wait another week. Maybe I should collect 5 issues then work on it... but I don't think I have the patience to leave it for more than a month.

its Deepavali...that's why la. I kena worse when my house-payment kena delayed 2 weeks coz of Raya and I had to pay sh1tload of interest...can buy tens of issues ady =.=
anyone still looking for the issues interested in getting all 5 issues at one go? unopened. just bought. i did manage to get them at Popular (thanks!) but when the husband found out exactly how many issues he had to buy (was for him anyway) he decided not to continue 65? or more? aiyah. he sed better he go buy a ready-assembled model instead.
Issue 7 - Contains front wheel shafts, upright bases, suspension covers & wing stays; and has instruction for attaching of the front suspension covers & front wing stays to the nose, and attaching the nose to the front wing.
Attaching the front suspension covers - Carefully cut the right and left suspension covers off the sprue, and scrape the paint from the inner (flat) surfaces.
Take the nose section and scrape paint in a small area around the suspension cover mount hole on either side of the nose, check that the covers fit well and be mindful not to scrape paint outside of the suspension cover profile; apply glue and add the suspension covers.
Attaching the front wing stays to the nose - Carefully cut the right and left wing stay from the sprue, note that each stay is marked 'R' and 'L' for the right and left side, and upon installation that the letter faces to the inside. Gently scrape the paint from the indicated areas of each stay and also from the flat surfaces of the nose where the stays fix to, sparingly apply ABS glue and fix together.
Attaching the nose section to the front wing - Take the front wing assembly and match up to the ends of the wing stays of the nose for a dry fit of the fixing process, then disassemble and sparingly apply ABS glue at the fixing points, and hold the assembly together with masking tape, then set aside for the glue to fully dry.
That's it for this issue, carefully store the nose section and remaining parts.
