Btw, I already subscribed for Issue 2 and 3 via the website and paid RM29.90. Do I get all the freebies when my delivery come or just the cap?

I think that's it. Got 'scammed' a bit by the ad on their brochures that if you subscribe you'll get all of them.

So for my first subscription (Issue 2 free Issue 3), I'll get only the cap right? Then for my next subscription I'll get the binder and so on?

I checked with them. Yup, it's RM2.2k++ But, if we manage to complete it, man what an achievement!

Anyone knows how much a Kyosho 1:8 McLaren MP4-23 car would cost if it's a la carte?

It's not like you pay a lump sum amount.. Imagine the excitement and passion building the car bits by bits.. Why am I so excited about this?

I just got an email of confirmation from Allscript staff. I'm asking her whether with the paid RM29.90 I can get all the freebies together with my Issue 2 and Issue 3 or not.

She did state there that I have a balance of RM169.40.. Not sure why is that.. Awaiting clarification..

Nope. I just want to subscribe the Issue 2 only since on the paper brochure it said "subscribe Issue 2 and you'll get Issue 3 for free plus free 3 items!".. Seems it's not the way it is.. Seems like I have to subscribe a minimum of 8 issues totaling RM199.30 because I pay using online transfer.. Anyway, I do intend to complete all the series.. But my priority is the freebies, get them all first, after that buy from Popular also can..

Yeah, the saving is one thing, but the freebies is kinda premium on its own.. AFAIK, if you opt to pay via online banking/transfer like me, you have to at least subscribe to 8 issues per subscription.. The first 8 issues not including Issue 1 calculation are as follows..

Issue 2 - Issue 9 = RM199.30
Issue 10 - Issue 17 & per 8 issues onwards = RM239.20

Nope. Only if you subscribe starting from Issue 2 then Issue 3 will be free. If you stop at Issue 3, then some later time you subscribe again, you'll not get the next issue for free. That's what the staff brief me yesterday through a call.

So, only for the 1st time subscriber is eligible for the "next issue for free" thing? What a loop hole if like that..

Update: AllScript has confirmed my payment and has created an account number for my future use/subscription. I paid a total of RM199.30 for Issue 2 - Issue 9. They'll deliver the 1st freebies (McLaren cap) together with my 1st shipment (Issue 2, 3, 4).

Wow, thanks for the info Aeon Clock! Brakes so many things mau cerita, that's why 5 issues. Engine cannot make too detailed, later bottom 3 teams buy one and copy to make 1:1 real engine.

U can go to Popular ask whether they got the previous issue. Any Popular should have it.

From the brochure, the screws are metal. But the screwdriver might me made from something softer, referring to XP750's experience.
