QUOTE(billyboy @ Dec 21 2013, 09:38 AM) They rather sell a 4 to 12kw system Interest in big project only huh? Can't sell the part also. I'm more of a diy experimenting with 240watt.....if they have no work, then the can entertain more nooby question. But many of them gearing up for the release of new FIT quota now..... Since got addn 0.6%.... Well, google have many DIY. And you can read back this thread too. |

1. Depends on the solar panel. Find out the wattage of the solar panel. Find out the size of the panel eg sqm.
2. Installers work arounds 3.2 to 3.5 hours of sun in kelang valley. 3. Multiply wattage, hours of sun, no of days and there you have your kwh output. QUOTE(lwk523 @ Dec 22 2013, 12:51 AM) |

QUOTE(billyboy @ Dec 22 2013, 12:11 PM) 1. Depends on the solar panel. Find out the wattage of the solar panel. Find out the size of the panel eg sqm. Let say . I use YL310P-35b, with peak power of 310 W X 50pcs. . May I know the rate that TNB pay to us ?2. Installers work arounds 3.2 to 3.5 hours of sun in kelang valley. 3. Multiply wattage, hours of sun, no of days and there you have your kwh output. Thank you. 300w*50 = 15kw solar panel 15kwh*7*30* RM1.2(rate TNB ) = RM3780 per months ??? billyboy This post has been edited by lwk523: Dec 22 2013, 10:26 PM |

1. Did you get the FIT quota?
Max for individual is 12kw. Unless you applied under non-individual... 2. Your calculation should be as follows; Capacity in watts (15000) x hours of sun (in klang valley ? Say 3.2 hours) x 30 days a month x tariff (in ppa) = revenue per month. 3. If condo application, i think, the joint management board needs to approve since they own the common area like roof top. If this is correct, then JMB also needs to finance it? Think about all these issues. This post has been edited by billyboy: Dec 23 2013, 09:06 AM |

If you got the FIT, have you signed the power purchase agreement with tenaga yet? The tariff rate should be inside the ppa.

To be frankly, fit installer earn alot of this. programs .Max for individual is 12kw. Unless you applied under non-individual... 2. You'd need an inverter.
Our grid uses AC. Eectricity from solar panel is DC. Inverter converts from DC to AC. If you are electrical engineer, should be ok. Otherwise, you'd risk short circuiting your eqpt or being electrocuted. Not nice. Check seda website for fit quota. If no fit quota, then the opportunity cost is the price of the electricity you consume - maybe 22sen + per kwh. You'd be better off calling an installer and asking him to explain to you the A to Z of fit quota, inverter, calculation of revenue etc. QUOTE(lwk523 @ Dec 23 2013, 08:03 AM) |

Just got my solar system commissioned by TNB before Xmas.
First day generation (despite raining) is 29kwh. Quite pleased...... |

1. Get a good installer who'll take you from A to Z. Pm me if you want recommendation.
Or do your own reading n research. 1. Start at www.seda.gov.my. Focus on solar. |

You need certification by seda to install and apply for fit. Diy for fit not possible.
Can get 100% financing from Alliance Bank. After interest payment, got moneyleft over. |
