Hey CY, I remember u got a TT UD35 right? Just wanna ask if it can fit in a DSLR with grip+lens and a 13" macbook air at the same time?

The TT shoulder harness V.2 seems very useful for long walking journey. Im so tempted to get that bag after realising I wont be able to get the Ari Marcopoulos bag in time...
*
Yes, I have a UD35 v1. It is able to fit in my 10" netbook. It might be able to fit 13"... not so sure about that. My 10" netbook goes in horizontally, maybe a 13" MBA can go in vertically. But if vertical it also accept until certain height because when storing a DSLR + grip, a portion will be folded.

My 2 cents, if you are buying the bag for travel I suggest don't attach your grip.

QUOTE(nanogen @ Nov 6 2011, 01:17 AM)
Just tested the V1 in some random camera shop....photo are taken with straight out JPEG and 0 edit.

hi, can anyone recommend a camera bag for a d7000 with kit lens, and one 35mm prime.
budget about rm200.
*
You should have a free bag when you bought your D7000 right? I think that's perfect at the moment.

Hmm... wide enough to fit in vertically mer? UD35 seems like backpack kinda shape instead of long like messenger. Have been looking at lots of bags, but couldn't decide on which. Thought of UD35 cause can use shoulder harness to carry as backpack if my shoulder got tired lol!

U still keeping your D90? as spare? Anyway, hope U'll get them back soon!  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yeah, my D90 still with me. At times I prefer the crop from DX for tele. 200mm on FX is just... short.

Yes can fit my 10" netbook and also my iPad in both orientation.

QUOTE(yanhui95 @ Nov 6 2011, 11:59 AM)
yup.  but the bag is a bit uncomfortable. prefer a bagpack
*
RM200 is kinda tight though for a backpack.

QUOTE(honvee @ Nov 6 2011, 12:02 PM)
CY, do let me know the cost to change the rubber grips.
planning to change mine too  biggrin.gif
*
RM30 or RM50, asked this Q during the Hei Mian seminar previously... but they don't do it on weekends sad.gif

QUOTE(davinyan @ Nov 6 2011, 12:07 PM)
I will happy to get the free bag if only the bag is nice (prefer lowepro passport sling) Possible?

I would more appreciate to get more discount without the bag.(just my case) ^^
*
Well, guess that depends on your nego skill with the shop. But most shops don't do that since its all bundled. Even if give discount I guess maybe RM10~RM20 only?

Yeap, if its a bulk then its worth it. Share the shipping fee among buyers. But if buy 1 unit only then ... pricey. Better buy from Malaysia and enjoy the lifetime warranty.

What is the transfer speed?

Is it the 60mb/s one?

Yes, Sandisk Extreme refers to 60MB/s. Sandisk Extreme Pro refers to 90MB/s or the newer 100MB/s.

If you're shooting in the northern or southern hemisphere, you don't even need CPL for blue skies. Shoot at any time of the day and the skies are beautiful !  wub.gif
Using CPL on 24-70 is fine especially on FX.

Actually, I think it's more tricky to use CPL on UWA lenses Vignetting is one thing but the problem is the CPL needs to be very thin to avoid unevenness of the polarizing effect. I believe on 14mm FF/FX, the thinnest CPL will still give you problems...
Errr... How does that work?  hmm.gif
Due to the curvature glass on the 14-24mm f/2.8 lens, there is no CPL available. No point anyways as CPL does not work properly at 14mm on FX.
Damn. Just bought the 16GB CF 60MB/s from them about 2 months ago. That was USD 62.49 each and I had to buy 2 to get that price. Still cheap but now it's cheaper !  sweat.gif That price can already get a 90MB/s version.  cry.gif

Anyway, I suggest that you wait for Black Friday sales which will happen end of this month. I think it will be lagi cheap.

Oh, another tip... Don't use UPS because you will surely kena tax like I did. Use USPS International Express Mail with tracking that goes through our Pos Malaysia. More likely NOT to get taxed.
It's not normal. It usually means the lens needs lubrication service. Have it checked at the SC.
All eggs in one basket no good.  shakehead.gif
As for a quote lor from the 3rd party shop... See how much different it is from Nikon SC. If the difference is like night and day, go for the cheaper one. If not much difference, then I'd rather go for Nikon SC even though it's slightly more expensive. A piece of mind and should anything happen, you can bang table and demand that they fix it.
You using Hassy ah?
*
Gonna get a pair of 16GB Extreme pro perhaps.. tongue.gif price looks good!

True but he already said 105mm f/2.8 micro does not suite him. If too long, perhaps the 60mm f/2.8 micro should be excellent choice.
As far as I know, all CZ lenses are MF... That's the only sad part. If they were AF, they would have ruled the Nikon world.
*
Price for a Zeiss MF already o_O, if AF I think most people would just end up with Nikkor 85mm due to price. Except maybe some hardcore Zeiss supporter.

curious y CZ dun wana make AF in their lens for nikon...
as 1.4 is not easy for MF...
the DOF is very thin...
*
My opinion is CZ does not invested in the R&D because they would have to compete against Nikkor's offering. Not to mention at such aperture you require accurate focusing. Nikkor's SWM on pro lens has already proven.
