60D... no weather seal... no magnesium alloy body... same grade?   60D feels so plastic =/ D7000 feels more solid, macho!

the 85mm 1.8d cannot auto focus on my body (d5100) if i'm not mistaken..

I looking for a longer reach for portrait.. also looking for a tele.. 70-300.. i know the two that i listed are great lens.. we pay for what we get.. since i cannot really get those lens for now.. i think i just use those budget ones lu~~ and i know there will be a difference in quality in that as well.. i just using an example of those lenses that i cannot afford at this moment of time. if they release the af-s 85mm 1.8g at that price, then i really have to look at other alternatives edi.. that was what i meant.. not trying to compare the 85 mm against the 17-55/70-200.. all of them diff category anywayz~ (portrait / standard zoom / tele)..

Good point too but every user have their own preferences. For me bokeh is like a mustfor potraits. It makes the pic look classy and the subject stands out

My thinks the D700 one is quite nice.. but if ask me which one i like more, i'd prefer the D90 wan.. cuz of the composition, and the soothing background.. which makes it a good desktop wallpaper sort of feel.. or just a nice picture with soothing feelings..

the need for high fps has always been there, else bodies wont be constantly increasing in fps, so those specs just go against what has been happening.
and then D800 with only 4fps? talk about turning away a fair share of the market if they really do that.

D1 5fps.
D2h 8fps.
D2xs 5fps.
D3 9fps, 11fps with grip.
D700 8fps with grip.
D300 8fps with grip.
D7000 6fps.

but 1ds mk3 is a 3yr old technology.
the coming soon 5d mk3 which is 24mp supposedly can do 6fps.
u cant say just cos high mp, the fps cant get higher...else when D4 come out, and the fps isnt high, then how many pros u think will actually start using it especially with olympics 2012 coming round?

so wat ur trying to say is, why old processor with high mp cannot do high fps? cos its old processor?
why not wait for new processor and see what it can do?
canon already got digic 5, nikon got expeed 3 already for the v1.
who knows if there will be expeed 4 with faster processing power that will allow for higher fps?

afterall, even sony A77, translucent mirror or not, fact is it can still process 12fps on a 24mp sensor with new tech.
