Second hand lens/dslr buying guide.

Firstly, check the outlook for both Body and Lens, if you're happy with it, then proceed to the next stepsssss. 

For the Body:
1. check the Shutter Count, the lower the SC, the better it is, just like a car's milage. Google has a clearer explanation.
2. if the Body has motor and top LCD, make sure they both work well, it's sux if the motor doesn't work, it's sux if the top LCD can't light up.
3. test the Body with various memory cards, you don't want to have error while shooting, don't you? (sometimes it's the memory card that give trouble)
4. test Continuous shoot, will the shutter jam? 
5. basically you'll have to test everything, every single functions and settings of the body, like ISO, pop-up flash, the condition of hot shoe, the buttons etc etc

As for the lens:
1. it's important that the rubber is still firm.
2. make sure it works on more than ONE Bodies.
3. play with aperture, the zoom if it has, play with it like a toy.
4. if the lens got dust and fungus inside, you can send it for cleaning.
5. if the contact points are dirty, gently use eraser to clean it.
6. if the lens is AF-S, make sure the motor inside is silent while auto focusing, no loud squeaky sound.

even though can get f/2.8 amount of light, but unable to get exact dof of f/2.8, my rough guess will be thicker than f/5.6

fish eye ? how crop if pic HEAVILY distorted ?
I know u can use software correct it, but it wont work well.

u want wide angle ability, be a real man, buy real UWA lens.

after all fish eye is not regarded UWA lens as fish eye lens is different with normal lens.

let say from full frame, 10mp, u only get 100mm,

from the 2.7x , u get 10mp of 270mm,

where got same ?

after u cropped the 10mp full frame into equivalent of 2.7x,
it is not 10mp anymore.

stuck, cant use finger move ah?

my 35mm f2 is weird, sometimes will stuck at f2 when i turn all the way to f22,
then have to plug it out move the latch abit then only will jump to f22

Yes for NON CPU, but NOT FOR NON-AI LOL !


damn it last time I bought NON-AI lens... have to manual mod the thing so it will push the latch

then when i sell the lens to another buyer, he talk so loudly that the lens can do metering without mod LOL !
after received only say no metering hahahaha!!!!

bokeh is quite nice, somehow most of the slr lenses has LoCA when comes to big wide open.
