Wow 65' for 5999, wondering how much hours have it clocked, seems like a very good deal.
The P60ST60k RM 6499 price is from senq as well? Last time I asked, a week ago, they quote me RM6999

Actually you can go to the CNET website to find the recommended setting, but it is not suitable for everyone.
Normally the setting in CNET is adjusted in dark room.
You can start from there.
Below is the setting that I copied from CNET.
Normally, after complete all the adjustment, if the picture is still too bright or too dull for you, just adjust he Contrast and Brightness will do.
Preferred adjustment time is at the night, where no sun light from the window, and you can tweak to your liking.

--Picture menu
Picture mode: Custom
Contrast: +82
Brightness: +60
Color: +46
Tint: 0
Sharpness: 0
Color temp: Warm 2
Color mgmt: Off [grayed out]

Video NR: Off

You have to turn the "Advance Setting" to On.
Inside the color balance, you can set the "W/B High Low" and "Gamma" setting.
Some setting maybe hidden in the service menu, thus no need cover on that 1st.

There is no THX mode on ST model.
That is probably a GT, VT or DT model.

For your info: I've been quoted by DLegend rm7800 for 65ST60.

ST60 vs ST50 pq wise.. your comments pls.
To many it is like VT50(ST60) vs ST50.

I don't personally saw the ST60 on show yet, so I can't comment on the PQ thing.
But if it is a new set, you should go for ST60 instead, just a couple hundreds more.

From online review, the ST60 is a bit better than ST50.
But the input lag for ST60 is lost to ST50.
After all, ST60 feature a touch pen thingy, which.... depend on the store.
Some store are included the pen, some store, like Harvey Norman, said the pen is sold separately.

The choice is yours, if the few hundred price is bothering you, go for ST50, nothing wrong with it, it is still a very decent choice.

Thanks 4 the info & link  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
So is something like lagging in internet ...
I may encounter video juddering when streaming HD video, most likely due to slow internet (not unifi user  cry.gif ).
No problem for 480p video ...

As for TV program very rare encounter juddering. FYI, I did  encounter partially juddering when watching news a few times only (ie: the hand juddering only but not the whole screen), other programs were ok.

May I ask how often ur 65st50 suffer juddering?? Or just watching "So You Think You can Dance" only got juddering??

Any other owners can share their experience  icon_idea.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

Is it because of 50" vs 65"?? Any sifus can help  icon_question.gif  notworthy.gif  ??

Yes at times, it still can be seen.

I mentioned that program as it is the easies to see. Many people doing fast and continuous rhythmic movement which is easy for spotting any irregularities. You can try on any Byond sports program eg. football, which I don't have. blush.gif
