Rooney should be possible but not sure about Chico, it's okay we will have Rooney + Ramli upfront, the double R!

Berba time will come, I am sure of it sad.gif

lol. I think you do not understand what you are saying.  laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

At which point did i say people cannot debate and discuss? At which point did I say people cannot disagree? At which point did I disrespect other people, even those who constantly insult man united players, for disagreeing? At which point did I force other people to agree with me (as if that's even possible on a forum)?

My point is this and only this. Debate all you want, but at no point should you disrespect a man united player. And yes this means posts like this --> "SAF is blind lar. Carrick is so shit but still play him."

If you still cannot understand this, then don't bother replying to me.
That's quite an interesting thing really. I think SAF left so many strikers on board because he has yet to make up his mind on the status of a few players. E.g. whether Welbeck and Macheda will step up or not, etc.

Debate is one thing. Most important to me, always respect the people. If you cannot even respect a Manchester United player, how can you even call yourself a Manchester United supporter?
Sack Fergie!!!! Sell Giggs Carrick!!!!!!!!!!!!
*
Have you ever disagreed with your parents, argued with them or your parents or siblings? So if you do it means you don't respect them? Does your debate mean that you can only talk positive things about the player and club any criticism is disrespectful? What type of logic is that? Because that's clearly what you're implying.

Your definition of disrespect is criticism of the players/manager and those who criticize players shouldn't call themselves a manchester united fan. I think you should understand you own comments before posting childish emoticons or high and mighty "I think you do not understand what you are saying. laugh.gif rolleyes.gif " replies.

And what's with the sarcasm trolling to sack Fergie, sell Giggs and Carrick? Come on you're a moderator if you can't act maturely what type of example are you setting, all the rules you're enforcing is void because your own behaviour is suspect.

Why are people emotional when the team doesn't play well? Because they want the team to win and play well, yes some of the comments are made on the spur and are emotionally based, hence they don't think before they act but do you have to react to that level? Stop being so childish it makes the people carrying the tag "Moderator" look bad.

just want to ask u guys opinion.. what is that SAF always prefer De Gea to be the 1st goalie rather than using Lindergaard?

from what i've seen (read: noob here) the thing that is good to me when De Gea is playing is his kick/clearance.. the way he kick the ball is not like other goalie i've seen before.. but for Lindergaard, he is willing to go "beyond" diving here & there.. & i think Lindergaard is more physical than De Gea which is skinny..

so what say you?

For me, criticism is good. If there is no critical examination of performances, no improvement will be made. However, i think such critical analysis only matters if it comes from the person who are directly accountable for the team, ie, the manager n staff. Quite how the team will improve from us msians bickering in front of our pc a few thousand miles away i certainly can't fathom. (Bottom-line is, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT WE POST HERE, NO WAY ANYONE FROM MUFC WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYER AND DROP/SELL ANY PLAYER)

Putting that into perspective, i guess the reason why all of us post in this forum is to share our views on all matter united. To express our delight or dislike for all things united. Personally, i disagree that voicing concerns on the performance of the team or players amounts to disrespecting the club or the player for the matter. In fact, i don't understand how "respect" comes into the equation. If we are talking about respect in the form of respect for a player representing Man United on the pitch, well, someone might feel he is doing a terrible job at it on the pitch or off it. Take tevez recent incident. If i'm a city fan, tell me how i respect him. But do i want him to do well when he is playing? Of course. I feel anyone is capable of "supporting" his/her club without dragging the whole glorified "respect" term into the matter. cool2.gif doh.gif

Right, as for my like and dislikes of basel 2011, dun think anyone who watched the basel game can disagree that we defended like "craB" for the whole 90min. It was not so apparent in the first 45 min but that has a lot to do with de gea bailing us out+poor finishing.

I dun think carrick had an especially bad game. Its more like the whole team had a poor game performing their defensive fundamentals. Things like tracking runners and getting tight on their man. Credit must go to basel for playing so expansively. Quite often in the game, we get overloaded on the wings and in the box. I know there is all this talk of our new way of playing, younger personnel and its eye-catchiness. With vidic out of the team for the past few gamessss, i can't help but notice how "soft" the whole team is. I can't remember much fouling by us during the game. Is that because we can't get close to their players or the general make-up of our players on not to get too tight? So, are we a "soft" team now?

Exactly we are just discussing opinions which have no effect whatsoever on the actual game, so let people vent their frustrations a little and accept differences in opinions. The only people your discussions will matter to is the people in this forum irregardless of the quality of your thoughts or suggestions/criticism.

The people you should respect more than anyone else is each other as your audience is the people in this forum and without them you'll just be speaking to yourself. If you can't stand a little whining/criticism the issue is with you and your lack of tolerance of a view other than your own. It's got nothing to do with anyone else and those are issues you have to resolve within yourself.

Back to defence if you have noticed the entire season, we've been leaking goals. There used to be a period where teams sometimes try to sit back and defend against us but now they attack knowing that they have a chance to score goals too. I think it's partially the change in keeper and rio/vidic/evra pairing. We haven't had a fixed pairing in a while and that's got to affect the communication and chemistry between keeper and defenders, also because our best def midfield(fletcher) was injured. With rooney in the team we defend better too as he will run back to defend and run up to counter.

Can't agree on best def-mid. Still think its carrick. Fletcher is better at chasing after players and pressing but carrick shields the back four best. Other than the GK, dun see how an inconsistent back four can affect our ability to limit chances for the opposition. If memory serves me right, last season we went through periods of chops and changes in defensive personnel from game to game too. Don't remember we were as susceptible to being taken apart. Lets hope we can get a clean-sheet for the norwich game. I think its gonna be a cagey game. Norwich can play and is doing well.

If Carloz Tevez doesn't wanna play in Europe he should have signed for Liverpool.

I think he's trying to give De Gea more game time and experience. Although for some mistakes, he seems pretty good now and if he's that good at 20, one could only imagine how good he is in a few years time.

For his physique, I'm pretty sure he's working out and trying to build a bigger/muscular body, like every other young player that join us.. Ronaldo for example.

Ookay. unsure.gif

If you have a good point then we will agree. It's as simple as that. Who will respect you if you come and kutuk their house member?

However I do agree Carrick is not performing up to his best. Yeah he's declining, but it's because no fans that actually understand and appreciated him makes most of these guys here pissed off. When he was peaking at 06/07/08 season we grabbed FA, PL, CL, and he's the regular starter, do you even remember? No I think.

When Rooney's form dropped last season, I bet you are one of those people calling his head also. If not, CLEARLY you're bias. whistling.gif

No point in arguing this. If you don't want to open your eyes, you're blind and can never see.
