QUOTE(busyman @ Sep 2 2012, 06:52 PM) nope, did not thinking about doing laser~ that means no hope ? If you do not want to do laser, you can still join diploma in marine engineering. You can wear spectacles. But still work onboard a ship Added on September 2, 2012, 10:11 pmQUOTE(xcoselete @ Sep 2 2012, 04:47 PM) 1) In my academy SMA, the total fees is roughly about 55k, accommodation and meal inclusive. I do have a question here
What does it means for visual acuity unaided and with visual aids ?
" Applicants for the Diploma in Nautical Studies course must have good eyesight (i.e. visual acuity unaided of 6/60 in both eyes and with visual aids of 6/6 in the better eye and at least 6/9 in the other eye) "
