1) In my academy SMA, the total fees is roughly about 55k, accommodation and meal inclusive.

2) 3 years

3) No. Because upon receiving our 3rd class CoC, we are entitled to become 3rd Officer onboard ship.

One more thing that stopped me is the requirement need a good eyesight right ?
My eye sight is not that super good, right with 6/12, left with 6/9

Will this be a problem ?

If you do not want to do laser, you can still join diploma in marine engineering. You can wear spectacles.
But still work onboard a ship  biggrin.gif

I do have a question here

What does it means for visual acuity unaided and with visual aids ?

" Applicants for the Diploma in Nautical Studies course must have good eyesight (i.e. visual acuity unaided of 6/60 in both eyes and with visual aids of 6/6 in the better eye and at least 6/9 in the other eye) "
