I think 30 you will probably get a cheap and low quality one. Honestly.

go find in android market protector, its a free app. currently using it right now, great password locking app. but it doesnt work on speedmod kernel though

Guys... I'm back reporting related to the loss of connection when using DATA plan. (Using blue and using the RM5/day data plan)

Scenario: Phone was charge, not using it as was sleeping, when woke up there is no data connection, the APN is still setup. Try to disable the packet data. Still the same thing.

Then i try to restart the phone and got connection and wait for several minute loss again.

Any ideas guys what is happening?

Yeah seen that yesterday but i think still less customization compared to TW 4.5. Anyway have moved back to ADW with some tweaks in build.prop it is a lot smoother and comparable to TW smoothness now. Yay I can use icon theme again.

Yeah speedmod disable all logging for better batt life. These apps need i think android_logger to work. Look out for Siyah kernel 1.4. He is going to enable some of these logging for users that need these apps.

i using cf-root kernel now cuz i need that protector app, and ninpo kernel give me auto reboot issues, cfroot kernel never giv this sort of issues. ragemod same as speedmod? no logging?

He is using all the goodness from all kernel into 1. Very nice and he enable android_logging in 1.4.

Edit: He also uses touch x rom so should have less problem.

edit: whats the difference between x-treme and x-power rom? x-power=better battery life than x-treme?

When you lost connection, is the H/3G/E/G symbol still there but not moving or the symbol totally gone even though you enable data packet.

Added on September 18, 2011, 4:20 pmXtreme is KH3 rom Xpower is KG5 rom. Some users including smaberg report better battery life with KG5 rom so he cooked up the older KG5 rom with the new KH3 tweak. Its suppose to give better batt life but for me just about the same. But I am still using the KG5 cos it give me better data stability.

The salesperson said it's anti finger-print material. In the picture, I got an extra sheet for free. Actually my Galaxy S II was laminated with the anti finger-print sheet. I'm not sure the one that he gave me as an extra was matte screen protector or whatsnot.

I didn't bother to see what type of sheet he gave.

I think 16GB of capacity is good enough. I need to shave off a little since it's almost forth quarter of year 2011 and I need to cave in for my indulgence in gaming as well (MGS HD Collection, FIFA 2012, ICO, Ace Combat, Gears of War 3...so on and so forth).

Class 10 has better read/write capability than a Class 4, right? The salesperson did explain to me but it was not being remembered. LOLZ!

Few years back i bought a 4g micro sd thinking it is enough but a few months later it was full so i bought a 8g card. Few months later its full again so i moved on to 16g. Guess what, I am now using 32g and it about 60% full.
So moral of the story just get a 32g at least you will never worry about space or spending more money to buy more cards like me.

And yes the class represent the read/write speed. The higher the faster.

No symbol at all. Missing without any notification.

Ok now that i have never had before either with stock rom KF1 or KH3 or now KG5 rom. Sometimes of bad signal it loss data but it reconnects when signal is back again. I am on yellow in klang valley area. You might want to consider visiting samsung service center.

Edit: One more thing, how do you normally turn data on/off? Do you go into settings>wireless bla bla bla and tick data packet OR use a widget.

Yup.. Thats one and also using the power button.

If you go into setting to on/off data then I don't know what your problem is. If you use market widgets, normally they will modify your apn to on/off data and this can cause data problem until you reboot.
