my 2 cent:

MK is a prestige area, you don't want to attract the wrong crowd into MK. With MRT/LRT what crowd will it bring in? think about it (and i don't mean to offence anyone here). For me what's MK really need is more highways because those that stay there own luxury cars and they prefer to move around in their own cars.

As for KL Metropolis, can't help you there...lol...i'm not sure either

the crowd will not come just because an MRT is there, i say MRT is quite convenient as residents there have an option besides car. i hope your company control arcoris tenant mix properly. because look at solaris MK, some of the business there is not so "family oriented". pls careful it don't happen with arcoris!

With 'Hyatt House' boutique hotel confirmed to be the Hotel brand for Arcoris, hopefully this will bring the branded Retail tenants. :-)

Progress update as of 6 June 2015.
Managed to snap some photos from Jln Kiara 1.

Block A (Buiness suites, SOHO & Hotel (Hyatt House): reaching Level 30 (of 35th Floor).
Block B (Service Resident): reaching level 11 (of 18th Floor).

Seems the building structure (Block A - 35 Floor; Block B - 18 Floor) can be completed by end of this year.

As I was so free yesterday - pit stop at Plaza MK and Verve Shop(Level 6) for more Arcoris photos. Haha..

Good progress. Is not a easy job to cast the structure since technically doesn't have typical floor. And also difficult for for their concreting task since the terrible traffic at MK area and also sharing a narrow access road with another 2 sites

Yup, another 2 construction sites ongoing concurrently - R22 and YNH's Kiara 163.

Can see R22 from d last photo - still at initial stage of doing both carpark and facilities floor.

Not really.. For Block B (service residence), those units facing villa mk has a fantastic mk view...

UEM Sunrise enters management agreement for Hyatt House hotel, Mont’ Kiara

"KUALA LUMPUR (July 9): UEM Sunrise Bhd has entered into a management agreement with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for a Hyatt House hotel in Mont’Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, which is expected to open in 2017.

In a statement today, Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, managing director cum chief executive officer of UEM Sunrise, said the management agreement is a significant milestone that marks the group’s inaugural venture into the hospitality industry.

“Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara addresses the needs of businesses and leisure travellers in the affluent Mont’Kiara enclave and its wider surroundings.

“We are proud to enter into a management services agreement with Hyatt, and to bring Hyatt’s extended stay experience to Malaysia,” said Anwar.

He added that the move will service the group’s efforts in expanding its portfolio.

The hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, meeting spaces measuring 3,100 sq ft, a fitness centre and a sky pool. It will also be the first Hyatt House brand to be launched in Malaysia.

At 10:46am, UEM Sunrise rose 1.58% or 1.5 sen to 96.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM4.31 billion. The stock saw some 1.11 million shares done."

Well done UEM Sunrise, to reached a significant milestone with the signing of management agreement with Hyatt!

Hope Arcoris will live to its brand promise - to be the Jewel of mont kiara.
Let it also be the new landmark of mont kiara when completed by end 2016.
