Using it on the HD series pads will feel like you're cutting through butter with a flaming knife. There's barely any resistance in the glide.

QUOTE(Yaozz @ Sep 21 2011, 07:39 PM) What u guys meant by a waste using my sensei on mantis? I like the feel of mouse on mantis . Having a steelseries mouse mean i can't use a razer mousepad ? The condition of my mantis is quite new so no point bother changing it. I just want to know other recommended mouse pads. I dont think it is a waste. In fact, im using my Logitech G700 on a Goliathus Control Edition. For me, i will still buy Razer's stuff even though their QC is bad, but only limited to their non-electronic products, because the chances for it to go awry is far slimmer in my humble opinion. QUOTE(AlexLai @ Sep 21 2011, 10:27 PM) Using it on the HD series pads will feel like you're cutting through butter with a flaming knife. Wa.... the description.... really so geng???? Or is it over exaggerating? There's barely any resistance in the glide. hard mats are really so good for laser mice? What about for optical? |

QUOTE(rurushu @ Sep 21 2011, 11:01 PM) Wa.... the description.... really so geng???? Or is it over exaggerating? Well the pad and mouse were developed side by side thus making it the best companion. But seriously, the glide makes it feel like it's just very floaty.hard mats are really so good for laser mice? |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Sep 21 2011, 10:25 PM) the 'top' feeling is different imho. Mantis is smoother than Goliathus Mantis is not really designed for anything, its a cloth mat afterall.its basically Everglide titan / dktmat rebranded, so yea i guess all those pro gamers out there using it must have really bad taste. goliathus is just a little bit smoother, say 5%. |

I'm in the market for another mousepad, about time i found my QCK Mass a little too thick, kinda painful if I lean my entire arm on it. Just sold off my QCK LE (regretting a little now) .
Hard mat is good for laser mice(s). But in terms of comfort, i doubt that. I've used Everglide hard mat before, very painful and not comfortable at all. Moreover it kills the mouse feet. So.. hard mat or cloth based? Steelseries cloth mousepad are very weird in terms of thickness. 2mm for qck, 4mm for LE, 6mm for Mass. weird |
