Today i went to viewnet to get my g400 and qck+, the g400 is rm89 and rm69 for the qck+, when i ask the cashier got any discount, she said no? Did you guys get discount for this 2 items?
*
I dont think they will give the discount coz the profit margin is very low.

BTW QCK+ have bigger size than QCK Heavy or equal?

this one if not mistaken, is similar pricing to the diablo headset, as it is also USB powered and with LED, the normal siberia with USB is Rm449 and diablo ver is RM499....

You have to request from them else they will quietly charge you their retail price. And most importantly, be friendly to their sales agent.

well, for me, a headphone with USB only and LEDs cant beat the normal siberia v2 with 3.5mm jack, because im not very fond of just USB...
however, i do agreed that the color and the lighting effects are tempting, i was so attracted to it... until i found out that it is just USB.... then i go doh.gif

PS: this is also the reason why im clenching my fist when i saw the diablo edition... want to buy so bad, but at RM500 and just USB?! Sorry... i just cant persuade myself to give that money.... sweat.gif

I have the Siberia V2 normal version with 3.5mm audio jack. Why? Is it that the USB version is inferior to normal ones in term of sound quality?

Nope, i didnt mean that the USB is inferior compared to the 3.5mm jack version, it's just that it is not that much to my liking, im still like those "plug n play" headphones, which doesnt require driver installation and etc. As you may know, USB devices mostly require drivers and drivers may and can cause more trouble than those normal 3.5mm ones which does not require driver installation. As for the virtual 7.1 surround sound, i cant comment much, but i doubt there would be any significant improvement as it's just "virtual"... at least it doesnt beat a TRUE 5.1 surround.... laugh.gif

@rurushu
Yes true 5.1 is much more discreet with the surround sound. But remember this, how heavy is 5.1.
And about the lighting yes I'm a bit disapointed also. They should have made it like the piranha where the usb is just for lighting while the 3.5mm just for audio
@octopus
Considering the function of the headset. Yes rm500 considered priced ok. Not very expensive nor cheap
@vigilant
Sound quality is the same due to the headphone driver are the same. Plus the usb I had nt yet confirm if it included a soundcard
If it does let me tell you one thing, it increases the sound volume thus the virtual surround is a bit more discreet. But v2 has a good enough soundstage to perform good in fps eventho its 2.1
