I'd opt for Jackal if you're sticking to SC or any DJ frame for the matter. Short chainstay = happy stay.

QUOTE(xandman @ Oct 31 2011, 06:32 PM) DJ frame... SS or not it's up to individual lo. The the lack of chainslap noise when riding is bliss... interesting... setup SS? Hmmmmm.... Yeti DJ frame looks good oso... but y DJ? Added on October 31, 2011, 6:34 pmif its gonna be a DJ...i want something that has to do with fellow LYN kaki... i want the VIMANA!!!! at least i can get it autographed by the person who named it. A bike with short chainstay 15" or shorter will be more versatile, albiet with lesser stability on high speed. It is said that short chainstay would be easier to manual, hops and etc. The only short chainstay frame I could find is a DJ frame. Hence a DJ frame. LOL Vimana would be awesome! There will be two Vimana owners here in Malaysia. Heck, maybe Reza can hook you up with Morpheus and get a frame with serial no #00002 for you. Since he will be getting the #00001. |

Some people like bigger frame with shorter stem. Some people like smaller frame with longer stem. Both can achieve the same fit. But the riding characteristic would be different as longer stem tends to put more weight forward onto the front wheels.
