this sem take with him and dr.faris tarlochan . not gonna get A / B from what i heard from seniors if dr.faris mark final paper .

Just like me last sem.
Bashir the first 7 weeks, followed by Faris the last 7 weeks.
TBH, whatever Bashir teaches is basic. You can learn that yourself.
But Faris' classes are a MUST ATTEND class, you can learn a lot from the man.

no idea yet . next week changing to faris .
this week just presenting case study .

He gave me so much of trouble during case study

presentation 5min and what he want to hear is intro , video and conclusion in less than 5mins .
oh my , the presentation to him is like *cukup syarat only*
hopefully he give good marks for test .

His presentation must have a lot of pics, correct references, less words.
That's all.

Yea i heard about it from the MPP facebook page. What kind of flashmob are they doing?

Tarlochan = wack old man LOL

lol yeap. Its good to have Faris as your lecturer. But he is a man of his words. You will not like his marking scheme and not as kind as old man. Follows US style. Instead of giving marks for correct method/answer, he deduct marks according to your mistakes.

that is terrible .
in bashir class i cant focus , go back hv to study again . hopefulyl in faris class can focus properly .
the marking already can imagine . not gonna get a respectful A in MD =___=

Yea my batch was the guinea pig for Faris. He was trying new methods of teaching and etc. By the end of the sem, he asked for feedbacks to improve his teaching. And yes, we gave him lots of comments.

When results came out, out of 200-250 students, only 1 A-, a handful B+, and the rest i think you can imagine. Bashir students, on average all did better than predicted compare to Faris students.

There was 1 time where Faris found out Bashir's marking on project was too lenient, he decided mark them again himself(for Bashir's students).

The batch after us was better since the team teaching(I think he introduced this to be fair for all), got few As, A-s and etc.

I think you guys got ntg to worry about.

Haha btw NEVER EVER talk bad about him on the internet. NEVER. Tell your friends this.

My friend was caught red handed by Faris during the study week because he insulted Faris in his blog by calling him names.

And that is how we know that Faris actually google his name.

aaaaaaaa new project given to us from dr faris .
everyone so senyap when received new project because all this while was the gearbox thingy .
the project is not easy .
need to use only programming/mathlab to answer the ques .

but dr.faris is so nice ! so much better than bashir
hopefully what he's teaching can really open our eyes for future
