is it possible for anyone to drop certain subject at the middle of the semester? something came up and i couldnt do this semester.

Yes it is possible. But you have to pay a portion of the particular subject fee. They will refund 2/3 or 1/3 of the amount only.

hahaa but you see..his project is just a basic four bar linkage. 4 bar linkage is the easiest.

Hassle? What hassle?
Do you know to design a gearbox, you need to perform various iterations to get a good set of gears (Depending on the type of gear train), shafts, bearings, couplings, keys, housing, lubrication system.

You have 4 linkages, and that's a hassle? laugh.gif

Even if you dont attend any of the classes, you still have to pay because you REGISTERED it.

I see. Well since there is programming in it, I cant say much. MATLAB is pretty okay to use, but CPROG is a no no to me.

Faris Tarlochan was hands down one of the best lecturers in UNITEN (2007-2009). You study under him for the knowledge not A's. I'm sure he's just as good right now biggrin.gif

I took 2 subjects under him (2008-2009). Mechanical design & finite element methods and i didn't regret a single moment tongue.gif
