I'm going to enter Sem 1 year 2 for Mech Eng this June, and I'm planning to use my RM250 vouchers to buy at least a book or two for my sem 1 and sem 2 year 2....anyone has any advice for any useful books that I may consider?

Hye, I'm new here.
I attended Uniten Open Day last 7th March and did online application there and got an offer letter at the same time.
On 17th March I got emails from Uniten, about registration date, orientation date, BMK (since I'm the 87 people who came first, I mean first 100 people who came, I don't have to pay for BMK), and etc.

So my question is, what is Registration Payment slip? Bcs I have to bring that along on registration day this 23rd May. Do I have to pay the registration payment before the registration day? I thought we have to pay on that registration day. Anyone can help me?

Registration Payment slip. Its a slip that show evidence that we already paid for Registration which is RM660.

AFAIK, all payment must be made 1 week before Registration Day.

So that's mean I have to pay all 2k a week before registration day? Including hostel? Student card and all?

What about the medical checkup? Is it a must?

Yes that's right. With penginapan. RM2120. The BMK Im not very clear whether you need to pay later or no need to pay at all.

If with BMK rm2420.

Medical checkup ? Nah checklist. Kat dalam booklet ada borang pemeriksaan kesihatan, kena Isi tu.

About the BMK I think I don't have to pay? Maybe. Bcs dekat email dia cakap BMK I dah bayar.

So, uhm, about hostel. Once dapat kunci rumah, boleh pilih mana2 bilik dalam tu ke? Sapa cepat dia dapat? Like that? (Sharing room)

So just have to pay RM2120.

Hostel ada Murni dan Ilmu.
Once you already paid the Yuran Penginapan. You automatically been given room number and bed. (Done randomly by system)

Just take the key from Accomodation Office by showing the receipt of Yuran Penginapan.

I heard that in ilmu, there's 2 different rooms? Like, first room is for A & B students; got twin beds, twin study tables, twin wardrobes. And second bedroom for C & D students; got seperate beds, seperate wardrobes. Is it true?

I'm just hoping that I got seperate bed since I'm the only child, I don't like sharing tho. They said I can't stay at murni until second sem. (Single room)

Yes. Thats true. And price also different.
Later, after you got the room number. Go to accomodation office and ask whether they have single room available or not. If youre lucky enough can change la.
