This market still got good underlying support.

We need a bearish close below 1670 before bears can regain control here.

It needs to close below it..otherwise it can be head fake.

Finally!!! Sp500 is now conquered! 1655!!!

Dow below 50ma (almost 200ma)
Sp500 below 50ma

Only Nasdaq remaining, right on top of 50ma.

Need one more day just like today to push this down.

continue fighting shows between Obama and Boehner until next week.

Here's my levels for trading:

Ceiling: 1670 (short or sell area)
Floor: 1620 (cover or buy area)

Since I got shorted at around 1690, I got some leg room and I'll continue to hold here.

Bears need to take this down 1620~1630 by Friday or early next Monday.


Anyone noticed that the high flyers got smacked up pretty good yesterday?

Not worry yet. I'm holding my stop at 1671 or higher.
I think market should sell on her news..

They'll try to regain the strength with anticipation that congress will get into resolution soon
but I'm think they sell off and taper down when no work being done.

Jack Lew (Treasury Sec is testifying..) trying to pursue them to solve the debt limit.

Just one more day before the weekend. I need the bears to stay strong here and hold that line at 1670!

I'm only in short term trade. Not investing.

It's looks like it wants to see $50 again.

So, I got some here and sold covered calls to collect the premium while I wait.

Psst.. take a look at JASO on this pull back.

Good price here at mid 9 but better if can get around low $9 or slightly below that.

Friday..(tomorrow option will expire). If my $50 covered calls get taken away, that's ok too.

I didn't get the 15mins delay because all my quotes are near real time..from the brokers (TD Ameritrade, MB Trading, ScottTrade, OptionExpress) to my computer.

Well... real time meaning as fast as my Internet can support it (my company got a direct 100mbps WAN feed to US).
Latency around 50-100ms.

Sometimes, also got congestion.. but usually no less than a few secs only.

You should be able to real time quotes in your itrade account as well.

That's one of my perks in my company. I am allowed to do this and no problems at all.
I am also issued company 3g/4g cards to be used at home or anywhere else for personal and work related stuff.

Unless you're not using a live account, you should NOT get a 15mins delay quotes even with slow Internet speed.
Otherwise, if it is really Internet issue, I mean web browsing and watching YouTube will be 15mis lag too. Right?
Gosh... even email can travel faster than 15 mins nowadays in around the world.

I see.. you don't really have access to ETrade, but iTrade (thru CIMB). For a brief moment, I thought it was the US broker ETrade.

Yes, in this case, iTrade is just a local platform for local user but they may not get live quotes from US stock exchanges directly.
That's why you got a delay data feed like 15 mins (just like Yahoo or Bloomberg).

If you wish to see real-time chart, just have to sign up for US based brokers (like OptionExpress, ScottTrade, TDA Ameritrade, MBTrading, etc)

At one time when I was KL, I was able to see near real time quotes too on my mobile phone (using the ThinkorSwim app) on local
prepaid 3G card. Therefore, Internet (slight) delay isn't a problem even in Malaysia.

It is just that your local broker isn't getting real live data but delay quotes from another 3rd party. That's means your (buy/sell) order most likely goes thru another third party exchange. You better not put in any Market order. Limit order must be used otherwise in volatile market can be dangerous for getting unwanted price executed.

Psst..Take a look at DOG or SDOW. It tracks 2x/3x bear move for Dow.
