The bulls gathered more friends, making back all the lost friends that has commited suicide since Monday evening.

Dow 11123.33 +183.38 +1.68%
Nasdaq 2506.82 +46.31 +1.88%
S&P500 1164.97 +20.94 +1.83%

So, I'll continue to stay long.. got plenty of leg room and buffer to 50MA line.

50MA not very far away

Easily achievable tonight if the unemployment figures show some 'good' signs laugh.gif

MPEL is also a better buy than MGM despite higher PE because all of its earnings are from Macau. smile.gif
MGM still hemorrhaging from Las Vegas because of its City Center properties.

No, just taking some profits.. always take a little profits after 3 days of uptrend.

I'm still holding half of what I've bought when SPX500 was around 1080.
So, I got lots of ceiling buffer in case Monday we tank, I can still sell and get profits.

If we continue higher, I'll just set my trailing stop and let it go if it falls back. laugh.gif

Good time to buy , sell and short within a certain range.

Making 10 to 20% profit each round , or perhaps 100% for options like call warrants hmm.gif

Yes, the US market is literally still within range.. but it is in the downward trend consolidating and being compressed.
We can see range getting tighter and cycle volatility has increased because the ceiling is coming down fast and the floor is getting weaker.

As for 100% options? Well, it can easily turn into -100% too. biggrin.gif

The new SP500 floor is 1075 but weak.. soon, I think we may see 1050, then next support will be 1010, which is last year low. So be prepared. Just continue buy and trade for now by riding this wave. smile.gif

It is like that lah. Cheap discount company will be taken over by new company. So, don't be surprise later if they jack up their commissions later. So, if you don't like SogoTrade anymore, just don't waste time and send them docs.
Just close it and open another account.

Added on October 10, 2011, 10:20 pmBulls are strong tonight.. 50MA taken.
Covering all shorts position! biggrin.gif

It could be.. but as you may already know, most of the time, the financial media will find a reason
to print a story why the market rally. The fact is, that European pledge was already happened last Friday. So, this is just another re-hash of the same old.

If the market tanks, then, they'll find a story saying the European pledge is not enough.

IMO, MM not making enough money going down .. so now, they're taking money from the bears and moving the train north.

Just watch the tape to see where support and resistance is. Resistance at 50MA is broken, next stop 1230, and 200MA (1277).
Also, just in time for earnings.. and year end move up.

AA reports tomorrow. As long they're not pulling a negative surprise, we'll see the fears will subside and the bulls party will start again.

Added on October 11, 2011, 8:47 pmBulls will fight the tape to sell today into earnings.

So, I'm selling more LVS cover calls (48-49) expiring this week.. biggrin.gif
