to keep it simple, now the cvt is responsive but as u all knw u cant be whacking it all time as it is sensitive compare to solid gearings of MT.
so if u wan performance mods its MT and to say the MT is tiring in city drive, for me i dun think so as in bad jam also no issue as the clutch are soft and comfy also

Well, I know drag racing auto will win as they wont miss a gear. I'm thinking if in future I wanna mod the car a little which is more versatile.

Think auto cars mod not very responsive? (I mean simple mod like open pod, not camshaft changing)

Auto is convenient while driving in city but lack of fun when u have empty winding roads at night. (Which I think can partly be offset by the pedal shifting?). And currently I'm driving manual so Im sure I will miss manual transmission but if auto can more than compensate in performance (and the pedal shift to be fun in a way too) then would consider the 2.0.

Is the pedal shift anyway near manual shifting? In terms of responsiveness and feel?

Yes. I drove manual for many years too.. the paddle shifts come real close to it, and I use it very often.. brows.gif Winding roads, etc, not an issue.

Simple mod can be done, like air filter, exhaust 4-2-1, throttle booster, etc... However if u plan to put on turbo, then pls go for manual. The cvt was not built for high boost sudden pulls.

Aiya...ini lagi....meh....FC depends where you drive. Unless you drive the same route as T630 everyday, don't expect the same FC. My FC is only 7.5km/l to 8km/l in 100% city drive...if i can get to highway with no jam, then can get 9-10km/l for mixed driving. If 100% highway, can do 14km/l. So nothing will help you save FC if you stuck in jam....coz an engine idling still sucks petrol at 0km/L.

I believe a higher CC engine also sucks more fuel idling compared to lower cc engine...which is why Savvy/Myvi idling also doesn't sucks as much fuel. After all, more fuel/power is needed to keep the engine idling while the car is not moving....
