QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Nov 26 2012, 03:30 PM) Wow, din't know you are a married man Go go Dell 6430u, ultrabook + 3G You must be a businessman judging by the amount of time u spend hereĀ Your wife's V131 is probably the i5 variant I guess I really liked the V131 (i3), it would be perfect after throwing in an SSD... its just too bad they don't offer Ivy Bridge refresh haihs.... And even the current Dell 3360's specs suckĀ This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Nov 26 2012, 03:33 PM |

Just get the Y480.
The other 15'' still has the same screen resolution with Y480, so Y480 will be little sharper.. |

S56CM has dual core 1.7GHz, Y480 has quad core 2.4GHz (i7-3630QM)
Y480 has better graphic card, better speaker, backlit keyboard. Y580 is around RM29xx, except the imported set, runs below RM 2.5K with HD screen. This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Dec 7 2012, 05:21 PM |

If the i5-3317U can't keep up, the i7-3517U won't do much different, since its just 0.2GHz faster...

Make sure 1080p in 11.6''/13'' is comfortable for your eyes first, later font too small
