how about heat issue on HP DV6-6001TX and Asus N55SF?

do they get hot easily? like at palm area etc?

cause currently i am using Asus K40ab which is quite cool...not much heat...and my company is using HP and damn the heat can use to fried egg.

Budget around RM 3000.

Battery life around 5 hours +.
Thin, light would be a bonus too.

I know other brands which has these capabilities like the Asus U41 series and Lenovo's Thinkpad series. But i am specifically looking at Dell and Sony Vaio brands.

Thanks

Dell Latitudes would be worth checking out, you can always opt for the 9-cell battery for longer battery lives, but you'd have to compromise on weight nod.gif
As for Sony, these 2 perhaps?
Sony
Vaio VPCCA15FG, i5-2410M + AMD HD6630@RM2999[2.45kg], backlit keyboard; colors: Orange/Pink/White/Green/Black/Blue/red; 2 years warranty
Vaio VPCCA16FG, i7-2620M + AMD HD6630@RM3699[2.45kg], backlit keyboard; colors: Orange/Pink/White/Green/Black/Blue/red; 2 years warranty

if you don't mind 13" laptops, then there are several nice ones from Sony and Toshiba nod.gif

well,my budget is around rm1500-rm1800. of course cheaper is better.
my usage just normal internet usage, daily microsoft job, movie, games(the most also dota), and seldom autodesk inventor.
i am sure i3 is enough for these tasks.
the reason not choosing B940 processor is choosing i3 is seem more value worth than b940
laptop size does not matter much, standard size 14 inch is ok
thanks
