Hi..I need help

budget : ≤3k
brand : no preferred brand

15" and below.
good/decent graphic card
good quality speakers
good battery life preferred but not really my main concern
I'm a teacher so I'd like to have something that can help me develop stuff for my kids (music, videos etc for use in class)

I like to play games too and this will be my main machine.

kinda like hpdv6 but want to have more options
any suggestions?

Can consider these:
Dell
Inspiron 15 (N5050), i5-2430M + Intel HD3000@RM2149, W7HP
Inspiron 15R, i3-2330M + GT525M@RM2049 *if got gaming

HP
G6-1107TX, i5-2410M + AMD HD6470M@RM2299

Toshiba
Satellite L755-1019X,i5-2430M + Nvidia GT525M@RM2299, 2nd and 3rd year local warranty

The Toshiba would be the best pick here because of the relatively powerful CPU/GPU and 3 years local warranty nod.gif

Its weaker than the HP Dv6 (both CPU and GPU) by a rather huge margin; but it is 14" in size, so can't expect too much laugh.gif

If you can extend the budget to RM3.9k, then the Asus G53Sx would be a rather good option nod.gif

1. Preferred Brand - none.
2. Budget - ±RM2200
3. Usage - I'm a student who doesn't do rendering, so I'm looking for something which has a nice balance to it. An all-rounder. Portability and good battery life would be a plus.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - 14" perhaps, or lower.

Thanks!

Thanks! Hmm, what about something more aimed towards portability and battery life?
