So i think the price is about same , I got RM2300 (promo 1st day) and got freebies (cover/case, desktop dock, USB connector kit) and malaysia RM2099 only got cover/case.. so I think its a bit fair...

You. An try "bigfont" apps. It will change your system font size. I am not sure if it requires root.

for tab7.7 + data plan now i guess i have 3 choices:
1) 3G FUP (digi smart 68) 24x63 + 1400 = 2919
2) 1.5G FUP (celcom 48) 24x48 + 1600 = 2752
3) 1G FUP (umobile 28) 24x28 + (SEP) 2000-2100 = 2672-2772
4) wait umobile bundle it into package..

Btw guys, I was at KLUANG mall last night trying to find the device since yesterday is the first sales day. No shop has it until I found 1 big Booth located right in front of the concourse area, I can't remember the name of the Booth.

Saw the device,so I ask the price. They confidently quote me RM2199. My eyes open big big and ask again to confirm. They said RM2199. I ask them sure or not. They said sure. Its original local set. I told them Samsung price is RM2099 only. Then he saith the extra 100 is for software. I was like WTF? I told them I no need software and shitz. Android no need any software to run. Then he said they'll help me root the device. I told them I can do it myself. But still, they want to charge me RM2199.

I am sick of these people and walk off. Better get in KL.

I was in KLUANG for work reason. Abit frustrated coz I plan to get the device on 1st day..

I heard this very common for new phone launch..everytime limited stocks and dealer make up a bit. And when no demand then price will follow RRP.

The free case only for those customer paid by AMEX Card if not mistaken.

How much is the AP set right now? Im asking my friend to get it from hong kong around Rm 1850 with 16gb memory card.

Bought it at indonesia on 1st day launching..
The RM2300 or Rp. 7mil is only for promo on that day..
After that day normal price is Rp 7.5mil or +- RM 2500

It is for Amex cars holder event lah ...so most of them got Amex there. I think the case is subsidiary by Samsung and Amex...

Everybody already purchase their casing n protector...
As for me, i still waitng my case from obostore....

Casing available now at malaysia too bling2 n not fuctional...
Plus the price not really justified...
