I am new to MH world, and feel that this game is very hard.
I had spent 3 hours on the 1star mission<playing with fire>.... No luck at all.

On 3DS? And do you have the circle pad pro? Kinda hard without it for me.

1 star fire bird? You sure is not 2 star or even 3 star quest?

anyway, try use beginner friendly longsword. and, mix some potions. (herb+blue mushroom) + honey

that's a quest from Port Tanzia? you should do village quests first

don't worry. i've spent over 1000 hours on tri, and after a hiatus of two years, accompanied by pros somemore, low rank ian and low rank barroth ko-ed me a total of 3 kali
it gets better... but if you are going to play with others LS might not be the best choice!

kenishi on wiiU? if yes, you're more than welcome to join us - we're a tad loud and well, not too serious about actual hunting though - all uncles and one used to be rather hot but now old d lady

I got a question, is switch axe good when playing with other people?
The game is still too new for me

it's an ok melee weapon but i would advice u to use light bowguns... low armor but it's the one of the few weapons where u can slack most of the time... just be extra careful and watch out for monsters...

Not really a fan of range weapon maybe I will try when feel like it

what about you? I think that was about when i decided to call it a day.

anyone with wii u... I still at character creation.. dunno why.. at voice menu I can't test the voices? is this bugs?

TBH i think there are a few rules of thumb for boss fight.

1. Dont be greedy with hits. Slash twice. Run.
2. Remember their pattern. Know when to whack n when to run
3. Avoid and roll button is your best buddy. Use it
4. Thr aafest spot is beside or near the monster. Dont run far far to drink potion cos by the time u get far. The monster has orient himself n charging at u.
5. Use shield and sowrd for starter. Its easiest
6. Collect right resist for monster. Dont go wearing -20 fire resist to fight fire mobs.

yea. it took about 18hrs to download and 1hr to install.

btw, i never thought i could be such a newbie at a game till i got on cart after being hit by aptonohs LOL

and at the very beginning "tutorial" phase too....
