I suggest you remove the top as well and cut a long segi-empat tepat(i forgot it in English) and put a acrylic sheet.
Then in the center, cut a 80MM hole as exhaust, this way it looks nice inside out.

i think kind of ez if you are the user of that casing..
got some simple code for it.. "0314TL" is the model and BS is Black and silver.. that mean your casing is Black and your bezel is Silver..

u have a point.
oh well, anything in the market is better than thermaltake stuff, so I guess i'll prefer remembering i-cute. Damn I'm such a thermaltake hater.
Gotta learn to spread some luvvvvvv, but thermaltake? NAHH!!!
They even have a thermaltake league in hardforum. LOL!~!

Hey Spinner case project maker, are you gonna show us what you plan to have come out?

maybe you can consider laser etching on your side panels hehe.

keep it up ! youve got talent there.

unlike some kid in the fast & furious section of this forum who wants to join carshows just because he had some neon lights under his car.

is not just reservoir,is a full water cooling system setup and etc stuffs wait till the final product

lights and leds are really annoying (unless u really know how to do it, try doing a search on google, some guy was playing around with custom made small form factor casing + white/blue theme lights + sapphire milky whiteboard, they just look darn awesome...)

Dude, most people who do a mod like ures for the water cooling stuff in 2nd smaller case put the small 1 at the bottom for all the water stuff coz u dowanna be leaking coolant all over ure rig if any shite happens man. Just an idea for ure small case front panel. Get sum perforated metal plate like ure CM5 front. Can get from advertising sign shops. Bend it to shape just like ure CM5 front. That'll look uniform n more like a single unit.

I suggest you remove the top as well and cut a long segi-empat tepat(i forgot it in English) and put a acrylic sheet.
Then in the center, cut a 80MM hole as exhaust, this way it looks nice inside out.

if your pc is water cooled, i.e using water block instead of fan to cool the processor, then you need to store the water somewhere right?

this is where the water is stored, in reservoir. i.e water tank...

i would suggestt finding a much thinner metal plate than the leftover wood... kinda spoils the look. seriously it does. either that or spray the bottom of ur case AND the wood to black like the rest of ur case.... at leat like that can cover abit....

but i would still prefer the metal plate sprayed black biggrin.gif

well, u cant certainly benchmark them unless they are being modded the same way.

when it comes to case modding u need all these criteria :
* theme for the casing
* elecronics for the bling bling
* skills
* the right tools
* lots of planning
* knowledge on material (materials engineering)
* problem solving technique and troubleshooting
* cash laugh.gif

Matt black paint is very fragile. Scrapes off really easily. With all the messing around inside when changing hardware n all that, it's bound to scratch easily. Gloss paints r way more durable n dont scratch off easily.

your reservoir got epoxy and silicon stain. can use some flurescent papers and cut out round shapes to mount and hide the stains. also the top leve seems not even with the down front panel. i suggest you try to use acylic to substitute la. if wan to padan also can spray the acylic in black hehe.

I reckon u shud do like this. Then the reservoir will show tru the bezel. When u haf the green or blue or red coolant showing tru with a CCFL or LED behind it it'll be real nice. Show off the water cooling mar.

nice front arcyclic front panel....looks like something like my case one which came stock with the case itself.....keep on progressing... smile.gif

question:

1. wat made u change the title of ur case mod drool.gif ?
2. the last time i remember u put up the title of ur mod as spinner case mod with the fan grills acting as spinners (something like WWE John Cena's Chain Gang spinner chain tongue.gif ) but up to the moment u change ur project title, i saw no spinners watsoever doh.gif whistling.gif ....so by changing ur project title now, are u going to prove that there is some sort dragon (or dragzon) element that u going to put up in ur case rolleyes.gif ?

please explain and thanks for ur reply..... biggrin.gif

I paid Rm170 for the centurion 5, without the PSU, sorry off topic

@sherren
nicely done once again, frankly, the key doesn't belong where it is now, it should be somewhere else, like in a corner or so le, not next to the C5 logo.

Do sprayin' works only on hot days. Spray thin layers & make sure 2 dry 'em thoroughly b4 proceeding.

After all, dis arent dat complicated rite? Hav nice time spraying~~ biggrin.gif

So far i have no prob wif my spray..maybe he tried cut corners by sprayin a thick layer at a time ornvr let the layer dry properly b4 2nd layer. I usually leave my case to sun bath for sometime after i done my spray to let the paint dry thoroughly.

yea its easy,for fastest way go get a printer port cable, go take a pen knife cut the rubber and take out those wires.
then on the 25 dpins follow the diagram which they give for the lcd,take out those wires that we dont need to use.the diagram shows we need to use just leave the wire alone.if cleaner look get new wiresand re solder.i did like that because wanna rush:p whistling.gif

Hi Sherren, don't mind if i ask something. IF you gonna put the resevoir on top of your centurion5, this could be a max risk for rest of the hardwares.

IF water leaking happen, none of your stuffs in casing can be survived especially PSU. Put more efford to protect the psu from water leaking, it would cause fire... touch wood*

sweat.gif if you are too worried that the water resevoir gonna leak, dont use water cooling in da ferst place~ tongue.gif when the resevoir on top the c5, i think the water gonna flow easier than at the bottom... but that all depends on the pump that u use.. tongue.gif

Anyway DaRkSyThE, if u gonna cut straight lines, the best is Plastic Cutter

If curves, then need the rotary tool or holesaws depending on shape smile.gif

u are absolutely correct. im actually using a plastic cutter rite now.
but sometimes i need to cut holes or even cut like a 1 mm strip off due to incorrect measurements.
thats why i need a rotary tool >.<

I went through your posts and seriously impressive work done thumbup.gif
I'm using CM C5 too and I'm thinking of spraying the internals black like you did looks cool biggrin.gif

btw on your new rig, I would recommend you to get DFI LanParty instead, the UV reactive mobo will look real good on your new casing rclxms.gif I doubt 450W PSU is enough, i guess you did better consider 550W/600W if you're powering your Water Cooling unit with the same PSU smile.gif
