Galaxy Note...i coming for you later

I juz noticed this gadget! Love it when I c it! Actually now m considering to get blackberry 9900, but now, think this Note! Any idea when is it available in Msia or singapore?

Considering spec wise, blackberry 9900 which is about RM2k comes nothing close to this Note. May I ask if Andriod is pretty similar to iOS? Will Andriod phone have firmware or software upgrade now n then like iphone4? How about Apps and games wise? Those on iOS is here on Andriod too? Is there any Jailbreak on Andriod?

alot of nice games on ios is and most probably wont reach android.

Id say android is quite similar with iOS but things are about to change. especially with Apple obtaining the patent to unlock touchscreen devices.

I dont want to mislead the person asking the question, but, Android is sort of a steel frame, looks strong, but flawed in many ways, dont get me wrong, iOS and Windows mobile is also flawed in their own ways.

our OTA update pretty much sucks balls, and very few people in the sgs2 has ever received an OTA update, i received mine, but its still on 2.3.3

Good thing about android though, is that you could do so much more tweaking, and if ur not satisfied, you can flash a rom to your liking. In your term, "jailbreak", in android terms = root.

regarding apps, if u discard games factor, yes, we r almost there, if games, then a solid NO.

anyway, android can be better or worse depending on your taste. Look at youtube reviews to see how much compatible android is to your taste.

If anybody want to have a phone that get new firmware update or upgrades promptly then only one phone have the answer. The 'Nexus' family :-P

Wanna ask something about push mail on Andriod, is it better or similar to iOS? Coz my iphone4 email is slow, thus planning to get bb 9900. But stumbled upon this thread.

I have googled for Note review, and it says that most users are disappointed wif it. Spec on paper is convincing, but somehow its laggy, and samsung representatives response is that users need to wait till official launching in UK, follow by US and the rest of the world. So maybe there need some tune up some bugs.

Such a pity, it doesn't have NFC.

We dont get theoretically "push-email" on android. thats one of the main advantages of Blackberry, many people gets confused, even the OEM sometimes label it wrongly. What we do get, is interval synching. You can shorten the interval, but at the cost of your battery life. If you rely on emails that are important and need to be replied ASAP, then android wont fair well on it.

Then again, you can on auto-synch, ur battery triple K even faster then.

May I ask if firmwarte update, would it b from Samsung or Android?

Do not believe in everything you hear or read reviews about Galaxy Note as mostly all of the reviewers have developer/test/demo phones which is NOT the final product. Wait for the official release as any shortcomings such as laggy can still be improve/iron out between the review time and the actual release date.

If you really need faster firmware updates then you can always flash official firmware from other regions.

Heard it may it will 2299 and will included a case like Samsung Tab 7 for promotion purpose. Hopefully it is true but early December is too late for me.

they don hv to wory about other device. so the perfection on focusing into 1 product made apple success.
