If you buying RM2K - RM2.5K phone then of course you want it come with a good sound quality. Or at least it can be mod or tweak to make it better. Beside i still have my two years old 5800 in active duty.

wow... looks like this is my next phone. My wife will say i m crazy to carry such a large phone. Have been upgraded from Desire >> Desire HD and so happy with the bigger screen. But thinking of getting a 10.1 android tablet too... hmmm... so many gadgets to waste money.

If DiGi bundled this with the smartplan at good pricing, then no brainer to get it coz my contract is expiring this december. Else, might need to consider either this or the tablet.

EDIT: How's is the Samsung smart phone quality now compared to the first gen Samsung Galaxy which was plagued by quite some problems previously? I did play with the Galaxy Tab 7" at Maxis Centre few months ago and found its build quality is good though.

I have Galaxy Ace as my 1st smartphone. I'm quite happy wit it, no complain abt quality. Maybe it's not unibody but, it suits me fine.

First gen Galaxy.? I have both SGS and SGSII. Both phone is excellent and no problem whatsoever..well maybe audio quality not very good for SGSII as it can't be tweak but other than that it's the best in its own class

I don't think so. Galaxy note and galaxy LTE will come with Gingerbread though both can be upgrade later. Galaxy S3 will come with ICS out from the box :-)
